What would (should) you do.....?

MISTY4MEMISTY4ME Member Posts: 6,147
I have been having a 'friendly' discussion with Tony @HAYSIE about this hand......

From memory it was in either the UKOPS Eliminator Freeroll or a Bounty Hunter, and I was in the Top 10 or so in chips (11,423) and already had a couple of Bounties.

What would you do? ......... or how should this be played? .....

for what it is worth .. me i would have folded to the UTG raise being on the button , if im going to play K J on the button i want to be the one raising it first not calling , you called the 1200 as you had a good size stack but then faced a rearise to 3200 , easy fold after that .. myjokras00 has 3k left behind so his rearise is just over 50% of his stack and my opinion is K J is not the hand to take someone on with , which could end up costing you over 50% of your own stack

To be fair we were discussing three, which were the one below.

The one above which is not shown in full, and his K9, against your AK.
    So the three are,
    His 76 beating A10.
    His K9 beating AK.
His KJ beating AA, and A6.

The playing of them included limping, calling raises, and re-raises, whilst ignoring the signs of being miles behind, and just calling bet after bet.

Who wants to guess how many posts this thread will generate?

With @HAYSIE involved I'm taking the overs, whatever the line is.

I think in the BEST case scenario, you are losing to 26 other hands

Dont you think you should post it here to present a balanced view of our discussion, which concerned 3 hands?

I'll start the OP off again.....

Tony and I were having a 'friendly' discussion about three hands, of which, this one created the most discussion.

    What would (should) you do?

    etc. etc. :)

How much emphasis or consideration (if any) should be put on the fact that it's a Bounty Hunter/ UKOPS Eliminator Freeroll ?

    Pre-FLOP
    Post-FLOP

    Graham @StayOrGo ,Matt @MattBates , Chris @rspca12 , Phil @PBKR, Danny @FeelGroggy , Danny @Itsover4u , and any of the other regular contributors
