Began the day in 2nd with around 300,000, is now north of 550,000 & is surely the chippie now.
He travels cross from Ireland for these gigs & never misses, turns up every time. He told me (no bants) he is 51 years old. Looking pretty good for 51 I'd say.
Shrimpy asked me about the dress code, so I said "smart casual". So he turned up in aged running shorts, desert boots & some Sports Direct cheapo hoodie.
More seriously, he's a top bloke & I hope he does well today.

I think the definition of smart casual may have changed over the years. Good luck Shrimpy.
Sometimes the game does not seem fair. Sky Poker's James Gavaghan is caked up & has an easy call against the shortie who shows 3-3. Then, for the rubs, he rivers a needless set.
This wonderful stack (not far south of 400k at a guess?) belongs to Micheal Mozdzierz who mock complained that I spelt his name wrong in the chip counts. Fancy that.
He's huge fun and a great guy, & hails from Poland.
And as I write this, Shrimpy has now joined his table, & is sat to the immediate left of Poland.
Once we get down to the last 3 or 4 tables, we'll ask the Dealers to give it the old "all in & a call" when players are all-in, so we get get some snaps & info on bustouts & 2XUps.

The 2nd level of the day ends in 44 seconds, and the 83 returnees have already been whittled down to 53. 30 exits in 1.5 hours, wow.
I now hear that 44 will get paid, with a min cash worth £400. So we are not far off the bubble. Sadly, that means play will slow to a crawl now.

Here's the very bottom of the Prize Pool.....
...and here's the sharp end. I'll fill in the gaps later.
And in sad news, Shrimpy has busted just 6 short of the money.
He's off to Tesco now to buy some presentable clothes.
Two minutes remain in Level 15 so then we have our first break of the day.
If the plasmas are accurate, there are 46 left, of whom 44 will get paid.

Break time.
Break time so the players are out of the room & only the dealers remain.
Not sure what to say about this. She seemed pleased to see me, anyway. A fun dealer as it happens, very Italian & slightly mad.
