5 yo maiden handicapper Wolverhampton Monday 16.55

and it's in the 'hands & heels' apprentice 7f class 6!
12 race career maiden rated 52 (55)
So why is it of interest?
friend has followed this off a cliff.
Since 13th Oct 2021 this has run 5 times,form figs 2 0 2 2 0
strike a line through last run, although that last run the reason for a little interest.
Jan 19th 2022 this was punted 7/2 into 6/4 overnight, sp 6/4 beat 3 lengths.
Not had much in the way of maximum assistance from the saddle prior 2 runs!
Lto Luke Morris ridden, wide prominent not much cover, didn't settle / switch off
I do not like, the Luke Morris riding style at all.
Thankfully Morris wasn't to liberal with his trademark windmill flaying over the shoulder riding style.
The horse is fit and well, why have an interest on Monday?
The hood is ON.
First time hood applied, which can work on occasions.
and the hands & heels apprentice can actually ride.
Had 10 career winners from 124 rides,gave one a cracking ride recently, 50s > 25s sp 2nd,see below.
This is not 'stable info' it's eyes & ears & what gets seen in plain site.
My pal lumped on this ew 7/2 last time, 7th sp 6/4
he backed it again just now (Sunday 21.45 pm) while telling me last time /chance for this one.
Skybet top of the market 13/2 nibbled into 6s.
6/1 a fifth odds 1 2 3 4 alas no bog anymore.
Possibly a back to lay? Can't see a drastic drift (famous last words)
Potential to shorten, not, definitely not lump on material, drawn ok in stall 4 for its run style & Wolver.
Yes, I know Levi the jockey had a bit of trouble, but he is ok.
Oh yes, the nags name. OKAIDI 16.55 Wolvs Monday.6/1 live price as I just backed it.

at the end of the day!
    just 'a punter'
I have on my little darlings lives
(whom I would ((like all fathers would)) die for
    thankfully no blokes/fella's/lads/ me blessed
All mine & my sisters & grand children are female!
Would not change that, for the world.
Every single one 'wrapped up' financially for life.
    And non of them,
'the girls' aware of bonuses inbound. (think lateral / daisy pressing)
I never had that, some of you maybe relate?
Happy for that bonus going to them.
good God, World today, they going to need it
And a big party! No wake, please.
With total honesty, a 40 year punter, monumental wins (oh so easy to remember) & tear your insides out... short heads / ran out last / 10 lengths clear (cherry hog) Greyhound, heartbreak for fortunes twice.
One, was Curry Hills Gara, Wimbledon Derby final & red hot fav, drawn 1, smashed out in the final (backed it in everything ante post)
Inc (name evades me) that year, the horse, in the National, maybe Brendan Powell ridden? on the floor at Beechers, skidded on its belly 10 yards, in running about 10,000 /1.. and WON, in accas all over the place, the whole lot going on CurryHills at stupid ante post prices
    I think,??? no Google
the winner that night was Ginger McGees Hit The Lid? drawn orange (5)
Told before, Toffee's Signal Spark short head winner Greyhound Derby final was one of best punting nights of my life, as was Ger Mckennas,.. 50s,33s,16S, (ante post) LARTIGUE NOTE, smashed out in the final, away, gone, and Oi Oi
thank C.rist for a very badly needed win.
Hills & Ladbrokes (shops) cash & wait for cheque?
I tell the truth, no blinking Google for real memories.
Lifetime, 40 years, minus £250,000 that's real, oh so easily could have been + at least £1,00000 real. That's why, never a last bet, until it is the last bet.
The Sedgefield placepot & The? think Goodwood Tote jackpot
    same blinking summer.the placepot
(I know because checked live pot running totals) paid £3,000 with the hotpot, that out the frame, would have got the lot.
    At Sedgefield;
the odds on jolly, tailed off! last hurdle chaos, it staggers into 3rd (placed)
    Same blinking year
    Tote jackpot,huge rollover, 1st 4 winners, 1st 12/1 & not a fav in sight, leg 6 winner, unraced 2yo not fav, think Roger Charlton's.
leg 5...Jamie Spencer, how to this day, he got a run, up the inside, from know where, on the fav! to chin me on the line, I feel sick, now, 2022,and that was approx 07/08? real as real.
    Anyway,'
Skybet, personally I like, a lot
you all best enjoy another FREE £10 bet
and can have a gratis £10 Okaidi! and, it is free.

ps, I back crazy prices too

however Okaidi runs, just another bet,of which, hopefully another minimum 10,000 individual punts
so, a mere! £250,000 to 'level up' Lifetime punting & a little to make up on Poker.
Love it, ALWAYS best of luck always pj

I swear, no Google, just flashed back
Rythme & Reason.. National winner, I think Elsworth?
    Not a clue, can't remember
    with the 1000 & 2000 G winners, same year? 83 is a guess

Rhyme 'n' Reason won National in 1988 ..... I backed it too, as I followed David Elsworth horses BIG time. DESERT ORCHID from being a tearaway 3-y-o hurdler. Fell at the last and was down for AGES ....... must have known his destiny :)

OH SO RISKY in the Crazy Quilt Colours, BARNBROOK AGAIN, CAVVIES CLOWN

    Funny, this punting game.
For 4 furlongs, thought we might have been in business.
When they pull like a train, rarely get home.Traded 7/2 in running.
If it was mine, I would ask Mr Carroll, enter it up, only over 6 furlongs, ping the lids as it usually does, forget trying (after numerous failed attempts) to switch it off, ping and go,everything of course price dependent.
After that race, had other things to do,thought that's it racing wise for the day.Usually would watch everything.
To irk me a little further, my pal asked me this morning
'did you get on' Get on what? 'that massive gamble' What massive gamble?
The John Butler outfit (history!) had it off, large & proper last night, 28s 25s 20s into 3/1 and it got back up on the Jam Stick after being headed inside the last
They did it 'real clever' off course, and nothing delighted me more to find out the bookmaker asking for an overdraft increase this morning,?
Fitzdares (Balthazar Fabricious) now that chappy & myself got a genuine bit of history, way back when he was in the employ of Ladbrokes!
That heated debate was aired on radio! Fabricious representing Ladbrokes yours truly representing the punter and hosted by the late great Mike Dickin, approx 03/04.If it was 'boxing' Fabricious 'retired hurt' as he was not expecting to 'joust' on live radio with anyone that had a bit of a clue about betting %s & margins.
That dang Butler gamble last night,at 19.30 pm it was 25s, 46k traded into 7/2 & on course into 11/4 sp 3/1.Needed the run 9 days ago at Lingers, and it ran on,apparently subsequently worked out of its skin.
Last race 20.30 at Wolver last night
Bad race with a horse available at 25s that's worked like a dream.
It's A Love Thing, massive gamble landed,Fitzdares got filled in, that's a fact.
No good in hindsight, is it!
So best an attempt at foresight.
Butler runs only one today, its off the back of a career best winning course & distance run 3 weeks ago, skybet traders priced it 13/2 no bog but 4 places.
As big as 15/2 with bog elsewhere, 3 places elsewhere.
18.30 Southwell Butlers LIGHT LILY ten runners, interesting race
the 15/2 just gone, 7s biggest, chucking a few quid ew 4 places 13/2 skybet and a few Bob elsewhere 7s bog.

    So
    little Okaidi runs today.
Did state in another thread on Monday, over 6f today ridden by Emma Taff.
    Wolverhampton 16.45.
the first time in Okaidi's career going over 6 furlongs.
    A maiden handicapper.
mainly campaigned over 7f, has run over 1m once, and run well over 5f.
Obvious I have (am) following this horse.
When Okaidi ran 2nd at Wolver 30/12/21 over 7f posted a 22.9 final sectional (fastest at meet)
Emma Taff rides today, and she rode Okaidi to finish 2nd nto Jan at Wolver.
In summary.Money down again, plenty at double figures last night
Oddschecker will tell you 9/1 all evening, was bigger, now biggest 9/2 behind the 5/4 fav Intervention, whom Okaidi finished 2nd to Jan 10th.
Okaidi run v well for Emma Taff prior, Okaidi run v well Wolverhampton prior, Okaidi gets 6f today first time ever, maybe the distance will be the unlock key.
As a low grade maiden handicapper got everything in its favor today.

Hope the operation went well Paul.

    thank you,seems so?
with World events the way they are.
'betting & personal stuff' way way second.
Thought about bumping this last night, half heartedly watched price movements, but engrossed all day & night (like most if not all) world events.
Had an hour yesterday post op specialist,we talked 90% of time about Ukraine.
    Best wishes,yourself and everyone.
Cant even get 'up about Cheltenham' at moment.
    Worrying times.

Tony, all forum punters should be aware of this.
    From Skybet today
Mullins DYSART DYNAMO looked an aeroplane..
a 'free no risk' £20 at 5/2 good enough for me, maybe others like Constition Hill?

  • Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 169,599

I can't bet with SkyBet, but yes, unmissable value.
  • misterpjmisterpj Member Posts: 3,303
and that little horse, out thought me !
not, and never financially, but won't be backing it again.
    The 2nd was a huge late plunge 40/1 > 10/1
Mr Butlers yard not adverse to punting, know the time of day, they went for a little touch at Lingers today, Sweet Bertie 2nd,running on strong.
It's low grade stuff, but Sat night 20.15 Wolver No 11 Strategic Fortune of Butlers, put in 4/1 it's ex Irish, ran 2nd of 12 running on when fav a week ago, fancied tomorrow night, worth a few shillings each way at 4s or bigger.
Skybet Chelt race 1 offer, is £20...monies back as cash.
Certain its generic for all, as in screenshot 8pm tonight
You might like getting the Harry Kane bet on, evens a shot on target VALUE!

  • misterpjmisterpj Member Posts: 3,303
Mr Butlers 'lot' had the money on Strategic Fortune.
down to 9/4 best price across the board
(4/1 was available everywhere last night)
Think we are on a trier!
