Ukrainian policeman's entire family is 'killed by Putin's thugs' while he is on patrol: Baby boy and six-year-old sister are shot dead with their mother and grandparents while fleeing invaders
Oleg Fedko, 30, was out on patrol when his loved-ones were killed when soldiers opened fire on two cars on a road near Novaya Kakhovka in southern Ukraine. The Ukrainian media reports Russian troops shot the family in Ukraine's bombarded Kherson region, north of Crimea. Six-year-old Sofia Fedko (right) and her brother Ivan, who was only six weeks old, died with the children's mother Irina, 27, (left her husband and daughter) and two grandparents Oleg Sr and Anna, both aged 56 (inset), on the first day of the conflict last Thursday. Oleg's brother Denis Fedko said he was speaking to his mother on the phone at the time. Describing when the attack began he said: 'I heard little Vanya [Ivan] was crying loudly. He was only a month and a half old. And then I heard shots. Then there was silence after that, and then shots again. There were two bursts, each two to three shots long. I realised they were finishing them off'.
I would like to address the speculation in media over the past few days in relation to my ownership of Chelsea FC. As I have stated before, I have always taken decisions with the Club’s best interest at heart. In the current situation, I have therefore taken the decision to sell the Club, as I believe this is in the best interest of the Club, the fans, the employees, as well as the Club’s sponsors and partners. The sale of the Club will not be fast-tracked but will follow due process. I will not be asking for any loans to be repaid. This has never been about business nor money for me, but about pure passion for the game and Club. Moreover, I have instructed my team to set up a charitable foundation where all net proceeds from the sale will be donated. The foundation will be for the benefit of all victims of the war in Ukraine. This includes providing critical funds towards the urgent and immediate needs of victims, as well as supporting the long-term work of recovery.
Please know that this has been an incredibly difficult decision to make, and it pains me to part with the Club in this manner. However, I do believe this is in the best interest of the Club.
I hope that I will be able to visit Stamford Bridge one last time to say goodbye to all of you in person. It has been a privilege of a lifetime to be part of Chelsea FC and I am proud of all our joint achievements. Chelsea Football Club and its supporters will always be in my heart.
They have said if Sweden and Finland join Nato they will declare war on them!!!!!!!! but if they dont they will declare war they going into Sweden and Finland next maybe after Moldova.
we have a choice coming up should Ukraine fail to hold and I dont see how they can hold we eventually face the prospect of either live as slaves to Putin or die in a nuclear holocaust I choose the latter.
I mean I guess we have Sweden and Finland to fight for the freedom of the world next but it will basically be him taking country by country threatening to nuke anyone who gets involved one by one or we go for the war.
We eventually will have no choice this man is the most evil man in history.
Really bad news guys I check the Ukrainian street streams regulary. Kieve streams has bullets firing everywhere. I thought I could be mistaken again because last time I am sure I mistook rain as bullets but this time it in all directions and then heard explosion go off which left no doubt.
The battle for Kieve is happening this very second and I fear the Russians may have taken it by day break.
Has anyone seen the footage of the Sky News team taking fire in their car? Cameraman takes two to the body armour, the reporter takes a hit. Thankfully they managed to get away, but it shows the real danger that the journalists are in obtaining the stories.

The full report is here in this video but I agree us sitting in our comfortable front rooms watching the reports come in don't realise the danger these journalists put themselves in to show the world what is actually going on.
