Today's word took me to the wire managed to crack it on the 6th guess.

That's exactly what I thought, I was hesitant in entering the word as it was my last guess but nothing else fitted with the letters left, I was relieved when all the squares turned green.
My 100% record on Quordle was lost today to another word I've never heard of. My guess was a common word which I assumed was going to be correct as it seemed to be the only answer that would fit given the previous letters used. Then up came the answer which was new to me and I lost the game, even though my answer fitted correctly as well.
After today's loss on Quordle I thought I'd try the practise version. I was stuck on the last word and with the letters left I couldn't work out the answer. A quick Google search gave me the answer (which I don't usually use). The answer was 'emcee' which I had to look up the meaning. Apparently that is the official spelling of 'MC' as in Master of Ceremonies at an event. I think they're taking the **** now so I won't be playing it any more, which is a shame as I did enjoy it.

This was the answer which I hadn't heard of. I had the 'U' in the right place with 3 other letters N,O,T, so only had to find the 1 remaining letter from F, J, K, Q, W, X, Z. I picked 'F' to spell FUTON which fitted and worked but it was deemed wrong for the word JUNTO.
