thoughts of the Flowing River race Kelso 1991 prompted this.
full result below, reason for mentioning, if you have never seen it, you will not believe your eyes.
The race was subsequently used (UK) for training race stewards,from memory 'how to spot non triers'
Bit of an oxymoron as Flowing River was trying and travelling like Black Beauty with Brian Storey straining (comically) every arm muscle, all the way up the run in, desperately trying to 'hook up' Flowing River as he cruised pulling double.
got it on a very old beta max tape!

More recently, I can post the Gulfstream Park race, Musical Heart ridden by Tony Marragh, full race below, horse no7.
Which I believe is now used stateside to train stewards to look for suspect rides! never seen this? it's illuminating!
All the way up the home straight, Tony Marragh hooking the horse, with Musical Heart full of will and running!

The racing post reporters race comments write up 'to much to do'! farcical, River could have won a minute.
Picture below New Halen, that story must wait for another day, won 100/1 Cheltenham 1990 as did Kribensis!
