"Decipher" is definitely the right word! Apologies if I got any names wrong - blame the handwriting, not my reading please
Day 1A stats Estimated entries*: 192 (including re-entries) Day 2 qualifiers: 42 Chips in play: 4,798,800 Average stack: 114,257 Chip leader: Ali Razavi 288,700 Short stack: Chris Whitaker 28,300
*Chips in play = 25k starting x 191.952, so 192 entries is most likely, assuming no disqualifications, and the 'missing' 1200 chips are likely the result of 25 chips being removed from play.
Ms Deborah Worsley Roberts is a vey accomplished player indeed, & was 2nd in the last SPT held here in August 2019, for some £11,260.
She is an American by birth & still has a very strong accent.
She is credited with being the individual who helped send the makers of Loud Hailers into bankruptcy. Fair to say, when she is in the room everyone knows, no matter how far away they are or how big the room is. Perfectly pleasant in every other respect.
I shared a table that year with this lady. Not backwards in coming forwards that’s for sure. I knocked her out on the Saturday, but she returned a table away and we all knew where she was, and what she was thinking.
Pretty sure I saw @IrishRose on the list. Remarkably consistent, very very good and a lovely lady to boot. Beware the strawberry daiquiri, she occasionally has trouble holding on to those during two for one hour
If our translation department is available ( @EvilPingu or anyone ) they could perhaps turn these into legible chip counts.
Then I'll try & match a few of these real names to aliases you are familiar with.
I'll also blend the Day 1A & Day 1B chip counts so that we have a comprehensive Day 2 list of chip counts, & will also put them in chip count order. 42 survived from Friday, 40 from Saturday, so 82 in all, though there may be some duplicate stacks, where they will carry the bigger stack through.
As my presence is no longer required at the tables, I hope to be able to do a bit of a Live Update today.
From the 1B list I'm cheering on Mumsie and Craig. Maybe prefer a Mumsie win as Craig is a good player and wins things. Always had a soft spot for the underdog you see.
