Derby's Administrators have charged about £3million for their services.
They have extended deadlines to Mr Kirchner on more than 1 occasion.
Perhaps I am being naive. But, I feel, for about £3milly, a firm of Insolvency specialists should be able to spot when a buyer doesn't have a pot to p1ss in...
I feel for the fans of Derby, Pompey had their own false dawns once the gun runner’s son lost his daddy’s backing back in the premiership. An Arab Sheik who’s oil businesses turned out to be a fish and chip shop, another rich Middle East gentleman, who came to be known as “ El Mirage” as the only photo ever seen of him was a grainy image from years ago. Finally another money man , this time from India , based in Hong Kong , a “ friend “ of El Mirage put money in , only to once again see the club teetering on the brink of financial disaster. Then two men who literally had money, they owned a bank, in I think it was Estonia or Latvia, one of the former USSR countries bought the club from Hong Kong Phooey. They paid some big money for players, installed a new CEO, and all looked rosey....... until. The two Owners were arrested in their own country for embezzling money from their own bank, the new CEO , turned out to be as clueless as Alicia Silverstone , administration, again , and suddenly Hong Kong Phooey is back ,funds from the initial sale had still not been fully paid , so he took Fratton Park as collateral. Relegation , followed by another administration saw the club staring into the abyss. The Fans , any clubs one an only constant, said enough and formed their own group to takeover the club, “ high nett worth “ individuals put up the big Sums, while everyday people could put up 1K of their own money to buy a share. We became the preferred option of the Administrator, but one thing stood in the way. Mr Phooey from Hong Kong , he wanted the club sold to another, someone he could manipulate, everything hung on a High Court appearance. The Judge, forced Phooey to sell the ground to the Pompey Fans, who finally had a say in how the club would move forward. This was at the end of another relegation to the bottom tier , but hope returned , the long road back had started with that first step. It looks as though the football authorities have not learned a thing, crooks, countries with awful track records with human rights, failed businessmen are all still allowed to buy and run clubs. I hope Derby can sort out their mess, for the fans, who are pretty helpless in these things , unless they unite themselves. No one wants to see another Bury, who got the rough end of the pineapple from the football league.
Fans need more say in what happens in who owns their club. My team, Northampton Town, nearly went because of a corrupt owner who stole a council loan which was supposed to be used for a new stand.

Sorry Kinda, as you say, comedy gold - an old joke often repeated.
Back to the topic. The EFL seem to have it in for some clubs more than others. What happened to Bury was disgraceful by them and the owner. The owner at Macclesfield was taking all the money out of the club "allegedly" and not paying anyone. The EFL were determined to throw them out of the league because of one man's actions.
I hope Derby pull through. And any other club because it's the fans who have to suffer the consequences.

@Essexphil
It seemed pretty obvious to all & sundry that Kirchener was a wrong 'un who never had adequate funds.
Not sure what happens to Derby County now?
@Jac35
Mr Kircher had always maintained that he was not currently able/willing to buy Pride Park-Derby's biggest asset.
So why on earth was he given "preferred bidder" status, when there was no coherent plan to buy Pride Park from Mel Morris?
You can't give a special status to someone who, at best, could only have done half the deal...
Farce.
Send for this man.
Got to be Mr Ashley 😎

It is also a lot more than 3 million and rising
Kirchner always seemed desperate. However in out position we’d take anything so got behind him
The majority of the wrath of Derby fans will always be directed towards Morris for getting us into this mess and the pathetic EFL
Someone had to.😁
Hence the last bit.

Another 100k or so for the administrators
