Yeah that is what I just got. I keep getting these calls from Senior American health care or whatever. I do not know why, for a while I thought it was bots as they read of a script it seems and dont seem to note my replies. I am not a senior citizen and I do not live in America. So today the guy actually responds with a proper answer when I say am I talking to a human being? and then when I say I live in the UK he says well how come you show up as a North Carolina number? I am like I dont know dude maybe its something wrong with your system but I live in the UK. He then insists I explain to him Why I have a North Carolina number ( I do not I have a UK mobile number) I am like I dont and who are you I dont need to explain myself to you.
I explain I am not a senior citizen he then demands to know how Old I am. I am like dude no you rang me I dont have to answer any of your questions or justify myself to you I dont know who you are. He is like I just told you who I am. I am like how do I know if that is true look dude I am under 40 years old that is all I am giving you I live in the UK I am not interested in Senior American care.
Why do these guys keep calling me I know call centers tell people never to take no for an answer and have scripts that have several nos and then a yes that they practice but surely at some point you have to realize the call is a lost cause and move on. I mean how do they see this going down oh yes I want to pay several hundred $s a month for something I am ineligible for in a country I am not a citizen off.

@Doubleme
You ain't seen nothing yet, just wait until @HAYSIE rings you, trying to sell you double glazing or a Timeshare. There's a man who does not take no for an answer.
He does take no for an answer.
He takes it as the answer "yes"...
In direct sales circles, initially getting a "no" was viewed as being quite positive.
The thinking was that at least the people you were dealing with were capable of making a decision.
Even though it was the wrong decision, as far as you were concerned.
The feeling was that it was much easier to turn a "no" into a "yes", than to do anything with a maybe.
And a maybe was really a "no".
All you then had to do was explore the reason for their "no", prove it was a misunderstanding, and happy days.
But you are quite right in what you say.
On a similar note, I remember the advice my Dad gave me when I was young.
If you are chatting up a girl and she goes out of her way to belittle you, that could be for all sorts of reasons.
But you will never overcome disinterest...
One of my favourite sayings from my Dad. Definitely beaten by:-
"Never hit a small bouncer. Ask yourself how he got the job."
And definitely don't provoke a big bouncer, especially if he happens to be ex Pro Boxer Julius Francis....
Point is, there are all sorts of reasons to employ a big bouncer. Size, intimidation, ability to place self as a barrier between 2 warring factions.
Only 1 way a small guy, without those physical advantages, gets the job. What was statistically likely with a big bouncer becomes inevitable...
There is something called the law of pre emption which states that if you or any party you have a direct association with is in danger of physical attack you may strike first to prevent such an attack from occurring.
Mr Sleepy there attempted to intimidate Mr Shorts. The bouncer could justifiably say he thought a physical attack was imminenet, threw one punch and prevented any attack from occurring. He did not follow up with any further physicality so demonstrated control.
You get to know with experience when calm control isn't working and it's going to come on top, so don't wait to get hit, strike first. It's not ideal and nobody ever really wants to take it there unless they are a violence for kicks nutter. But get it done and get back to work.
Notice as usual all the gobshites who were giving it the big un then start saying it was out of order and unwarranted blah, blah, blah. Everybody is Billy Bigbollox til they get punched in the face.
P.S. Small bouncers rule
"Common Assault – s.39 Criminal Justice Act 1988
An assault is any act (and not mere omission to act) by which a person intentionally or recklessly causes another to suffer or apprehend immediate unlawful violence.
The term assault is often used to include a battery, which is committed by the intentional or reckless application of unlawful force to another person. Where there is a battery, the defendant should be charged with ‘assault by beating’: DPP v Little [1992] QB 645. Provided there has been an intentional or reckless application of unlawful force the offence will have been committed, however slight the force.
Assault, as distinct from battery, can be committed by an act indicating an intention to use unlawful violence against the person of another – for example, an aimed punch that fails to connect"
Mr Sleepy shoves 1, and threatens 2 more with gestures that cause them to suffer or apprehend immediate unlawful violence. He could be charged and convicted. Although, more often than not, no charges are brought.
The security guard? His job is to ensure the safety of others. Sometimes that includes the use of proportionate, lawful, violence. Particularly during a sustained burst of threatening behaviour. Particularly where Mr Shorts has already tried to diffuse the situation.
I guess this would be the equivalent of Haysie trying to sell me double glazing when I dont own the property and trying to sell me an expensive time share way out of my price range in Russia.
He could try not taking no for an answer for as long as he wanted but he would never get the sale because it would be impossible.
I could hang up which I would do if I was busy when he rang but in truth if they caught me at a time when I was free my initial response would be to reject but if they kept going I would get really silly. First it would start with me gradually trying to change the topic to bizarre topics I know only I would be interested in. Then I would turn up the silly and pretend to be crazy and start claiming to have been abducted by aliens flat earth conspiracy nonsense, and some Alex Jones there turning the frogs gay for good measure. and just see how much of their time I could waste as they keep trying to sell a product I cant buy even if I wanted to.
This is what I am doing next time that American Senior citizen place call they had the me explaining why I am not interested next stage is Bizarre topics the following stages will be fake crazy for the lols.
I once tried that silly on a really hot model who I thought was a stuck up B**** for the lols that kind of took a funny twist but that is another story for another day.
