Closed that spread bet out too early, it made up to 15, so would have been a (6.5 x £1.5) £9.75 profit, instead I took a £9 loss, so it cost me £18.75. Meh, swings & swongs.

Yes. I originally sold at 21.5, & it made up at 15 (5 x 3) so my profit would have been 6.5 points. (21.5 minus 15).
It IS confusing at first, but it's huge fun. The learning curve has been steep for me, but now I have a spread bet on every game I watch on TV. Remember, if in doubt, close the bet early. Leave it too long & it can be too late. And ONLY spread bet when you can watch the game in real time.
I wouldn't normally make a Shots on target bet but there's some good value in Ghana V Uruguay at 3pm. Uruguay need a win so will have to go for it and over the 2 group games Ghana have scored 5 and let in 5.

When I'm doing Multi-Corners at £1.50, I'm usually very happy to cut & run if it hits +£15. Games can "turn" very quickly, but I'm v v happy if I can nick £10 to £15 per game, it soon adds up.
@Tikay10 I guess if your liability only lasts an hour then it's easy to draw a line under. I think I'll stick to micro stakes + long shots for now, so I could have a bad month and it not affect my balance.
