Juventus appeal against 15-point deduction for illicit transfer activity is reversed.
Italy's highest sporting court says the case should be re-examined after Juve were accused of fixing balance sheets by artificial gains from transfers.
The lifting of the points deduction means Juventus move up from seventh to third in the Serie A table.
Rather than Juve being cleared, the case will now return to the Italian Football Federation appeals court, the body which gave the initial punishment.
As a result of the decision, with eight games to go in the season, AC Milan are knocked out of the Champions League places while Roma drop to fourth.
Tottenham managing director of football Fabio Paratici lost his appeal against a 30-month ban as part of the same proceedings.
The former Juve sporting director was one of 11 directors at the club, either former or still in place at the time of the ruling, who were sanctioned.
Paratici, former president Andrea Agnelli, former chief executive Maurizio Arrivabene and sports director Federico Cherubini had their appeals rejected.
Former player and director Pavel Nedved, Paolo Garimberti and Enrico Vellano were successful with their appeals.
Former Arsenal academy star is now a tetraplegic and needs 24-hour care in wheelchair after his drink was 'spiked' on night out
Former Arsenal academy star, 23, is tetraplegic and needs 24-hour care after drink was Daniel Cain, now 23, from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, had been a fit and healthy young footballer who was also a qualified electrician - until a night out with friends in 2020 had a tragic ending. On June 9 of that year his friends suddenly noticed he looked a 'funny colour' and was unresponsive - he had had a cardiac arrest. After being taken to hospital, the footballer was in a coma for 25 days as doctors told his loved ones to prepare for the worst - that he would not recover. Doctors warned Cain's family that even if he did wake up, he would be severely brain damaged and in a 'vegetative' state due to the amount of time his brain and spinal cord were deprived of oxygen. He is now wheelchair bound and also has limited upper-body movement, meaning he requires full time care. He is dependent on his family, needing to be hoisted in and out of bed and taken to the bathroom.
It just goes to show the folly of having a totally inexperienced Manager at the helm, be it Stellini or Lampard.
Spurs have played 3-4-3 (bordering on 5-2-3) all season. We are playing Away to a quality side in Newcastle. Decide we need an extra body in Midfield. But-instead of Sarr replacing a luxury attacking player like Kulusevski, we remove a Central Defender.
Leaving us with a Back 4 who have not played as a Back 4 all season. Our natural Full Backs (Emerson Royal/Davies) are injured. so we have a RWB at RB, who has never played RB in England. A converted LWB (who until 18 months ago was a LM/AM/SS) who has never played LB in England. A CB in Dier who is known for being better in a CB 3. And a CB in Romero who has never played in England as part of a Back 4.
And at the base of Midfield, we don't play Hojbjerg, but Sarr. A promising Child. But not ready for that responsibility. As shown by Stellini coaching him on the field just before kick-off.
The first 23 minutes were horrible to watch. A Defence that had no idea how they were supposed to Defend. Then-finally-we reverted to our usual Defensive system. 23 minutes too late.
If we had trialled that system at Home to Bournemouth and lost, so be it. But Away to Newcastle? Madness.
