If you look at other sites, say pkr as davey as mentioned them 15000 gets you a cap, 15000 here will get you in 15 of these tournys @ £2 a go, I know id rather be playing in these tournys.

i have no idea how sky is planning to get rid of the back log of points, i have been on sky less than a year and have 52k points. many players have been playing for 2 or 3 years as offshoot says many have +100k.

the first place in this mtt is £30 so if you win it you have reached 30% rakeback, most sites offer 30% RB but you dont have to win a 50 runner mtt to get it.

i cant understand why the players have registersd for this mtt, can you explain? your letting sky win on the points.  i would like to see all players hold on to your points and keep moaning, in the end sky will make a much beter offer than 2%.

im not sure how the PKR points system works but i bet you can earn points much faster than you can on sky and you get 30% RB from PKR.

Hi Freechips, Sky Bernie is currently conducting a few tests - timings, structures etc. I wouldn't worry to much and ignore them if you wish, but if you choose to play in it then that's great. all the best, Rich

rich it is good that a 12 min blind mtt has been put in place but 2% is bad.
i dont mind if its 3min blind mtt or a all in every hand mtt but i want value for my points.

We should get together and draw online short straws, so that with 1 minute, to go, 49 ppl de-register and it costs sky £100 for 1000 points instead of 50,000.

I may make a protest de-register anyway with 30 seconds to go.  That should rattle em lol

Well, let me try and make a few points and I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm wrong.

    1. Initially on Sky Poker, points had no value apart from the ability to use them to enter free-rolls. Sky Poker made no promises that the points would ever be worth more than that.

    2. Sky Poker decided (presumably as a response to market competition) that they needed to improve this offer.  Therefore, they introduced a "Cash For Points" scheme to reward frequent players each month. When this was introduced they made no promises about the worth of historic points.

    3. When the new scheme was introduced they could have decided that any points accrued above the "stage points" each month would be lost. However, these points are added to the existing balance - again I could be wrong.

    4. There is a massive equity in these "historic"  points which it is VERY difficult to Sky Poker to provide a generous recompense for. As they were worth nothing more than entry to freerolls at the time that they were accrued it is very silly for us to complain that we have ever been duped or mis-treated.

As a heavy user of this site from the early days I suspect that I have as large an equity in these points as most players.

YOU need to get some perspective on life. Even in the over-used currency of the word "sick" amongst young people nowadays it is pathetic to see you post using the phrase as you have done. For you then to call for the resignation of a man who makes enormous efforts to satisfy customer demand on this site makes me feel "sick" , to be honest.

You should consider what you post before typing because, in my opinion, it makes you look like a bitter and twisted individual who has no concept of the real world.

There are many people on this site who would like to see a satisfactory resolution to this issue but you , by making mindlessly inflamatory remarks, are helping no-one.

I hope that this answers at least some of your "concerns".

Thankyou for correcting my typographical error. I can only apologise.

I posted some serious points for consideration.

I do not work for Sky Poker; neither have I ever met any of their employees as far as I am aware.

As I said, I have significant equity invested in poker points and I'm pretty sure that you cannot say the same.

Your use of the figures of 99% and 1% is extremely ill-judged and you have no basis for their use whatsoever.

I generally think deeply before posting and I certainly did not post without due consideration in this case.
