When I say it was cold in here, I really do mean cold. This photo was taken this afternoon by Nick Walsh of PokerStars & popped up on his Instagram or somesuch & someone sent it to me.
I made sure to let Eamonn know at the end of day 1 that he probably had the record for the most bullets fired in SPT's but had managed just the one final table. I'd like to think he won this purely out of spite. Congratulations to Eamonn, everybody knows this result was a long time coming. There's a nice streak of sky spt winners; long may it continue!
That was one **** of a weekend, thanks everyone, from James, Tikay ,Mark (for the beers) to the best rail in the world and all the nice comments here and the countless ones in Pm's.
Really proves what a great community the Sky Poker crowd is, see you all in Glasgow.
Also cant not mention the Sky players who railed until the end despite the freezing cold. Spearheaded by @aynaricol who offered encouragement and positive vibes throughout. Thanks to all.
The boiler had failed but the fans were still forcing the cold air through the ceiling vents.
Imagine being in a room with the front door & back door both open & an icy wind blowing through it. It was - literally - warmer (well, less cold) to stand outside in the car park.

Very well done to Tikay and all other Sky pokers who cashed.
Lovely to meet up again with, and share tables with, many Sky players and former Sky players.
Delighted that the commentary was sparse this time for the very best of reasons.
SPT’s are fabulous, it’s great catching up with people we tussle with online, the majority of whom are great company and lovely people.
Many thanks to Tikay, who is an absolute gentleman and a star, love that man.
