That's the great thing about music. Such incredible variety.
I haven't heard anything by Conway Twitty in years. And by Roy Orbison or Patsy Cline in months.
And I thoroughly enjoyed all 3.
On a side note, my Youngest is currently doing their dissertation for a Music Degree on the acceptance of Women Performers in Music. Something I find absolutely fascinating.
So-for example-some genres accepted Women Musicians from the get go. For example, Punk and Country.
Whereas others took decades to accept Women. Rock, particularly Hard Rock, Reggae and its forerunners.

Ah watched " Girls in bands " on BBC 4 the other night there and this was the first band on ( It made the 5 year old in me chuckle )....
