I first saw this band in Germany way back in the 90s, they were raw as, one them came on stage with a huge angle grinder and the other with a sledgehammer, their concert was pure theatre (like nothing id seen prior) this song is a little more 'refined' https://youtu.be/R85U4nSVzWc
One of my best friends was really into all this stuff, I used to hate it but must admit when I listen to it now its actually pretty good https://youtu.be/1P17ct4e5OE
Wow..nice one....strange story the "unc" has a special place in my heart..ty
There is a wee venue/night club in Edinburgh called cabaret Voltaire, there has been some big acts who have played there, I never seen Florence n the machine there, but I bet that was an amazing gig……I’ve seen so many live acts there, no been for a long time, I dunno if it’s even still open I’m pretty sure it will be…..might have to go up town and investigate soon here’s a taste of who has played there;
Mad that sound is from 67. Here some funny quote; Jazz and big band drummer Buddy Rich died after surgery in 1987. As he was being prepped for surgery, a nurse asked him, “Is there anything you can't take?” Rich replied, “Yeah, country music.”

Pretty sure Cabaret Voltaire is still open (Blair street) its a great venue, been there a few times, that whole corner is tremendous for venues, just down the road is 'La Belle Angele' beside that is 'Stramash', also just round the corner beside 'Bannermans' (good for heavy metal ) is a venue called 'The Caves' very similar to 'Voltaire' (ie in the underground vaults from the original old town) small and very intimate both terrific, Florence and the Machine must have been amazing there.
