@HENDRIK62 LENNON is so good!! just listening to your tracks the now...... some folk are really talented, i always think its amazing how young folk come up with such great tracks......like look at bob dylans lyrics from when he was young, unreal, more recent folk like billy eilish just churn out tune after tune, special people imho.
another edit; im a silverchair fan...magic! and another edit; your ears are amazing @HENDRIK62 ps. that when im small is just class.....gotta be up there as one of the top 3 posts in this whole thread!
The Beatles - when you think about it, it's hard to find ANY bad Beatles tracks, isn't it?
Some of the stuff they did individually after they split, especially by Paul, was a bit naff & soppy, but if we just confine it to the Beatles "proper" I'm struggling to think of a bad track they recorded. To balance out Paul's naff stuff, George seemed to flourish as a solo artist & in projects such as the Travelling Wilbury's.
afternoon everybody......im moping about the house ill......feeling guilty about missing work, that is not a joke.......anyway had the tunes on all morning so heres my picks outa the bunch;
enjoyed those @rabdeniro ive only really listened to their big hits before, will defo stick on a couple of their albums, why ive never done it before i dunno! ps...when i was younger i totally avoided alotta the 80s stuff, thought it was the worst era for music, then i got to 30, and discovered i really am an idiot haha......but i do have wonderful ears!
seen Simple Minds live a lot, remember seeing them in Queen Margaret Union early 80s just before Empires and Dance album. saw them after Celebration at Barrowlands then at Ibrox after New Gold Dream when they were starting to become huge, they were supported that day by Lloyd Cole and the commotions (who looked at the drummer for the whole show.....the only person who interacted and spoke to the crowd was Laurence Donnegan (the bass player and also of Altered Images- mmm Clare Grogan )
