Rory Gallagher? Criminally underrated. Should be remembered for his songs, not his excesses. When Hendrix Clapton and May say you are brilliant, you are.
.....i will get back into those vinyls soon i hope, need to be good so i get another invite round haha.......i clocked some original pink floyd ones last night, is brilliaant seeing those old sleaves from the 60's, 70's and 80's.........anyway after a nice day on the horses i got that friday feeling and it goes someting like this;
OK I'm going North of the border for todays selection which deviate somewhat from the usual rock based music I post. However, these are here for 1 reason, they are blooming great songs.
First, the excellent Leyton Buzzards-who morphed into Modern Romance, a truly terrible band. Then to Chris de Burgh, before he went all maudlin. Finally, old Yuk Yuk when she was a musician, rather than a faintly annoying Judge in BGT

Haven't heard The Leyton Buzzards in like 30 years.
Also often play the C.D.B. track as it's on his "Spanish Train and Other Stories" Album
Here are 2 beautiful songs. From people who are revered around the World. And-in the UK-have a total of 1 hit single between them.
Janis Ian. And James Taylor. If you've not heard these songs before, enjoy.
