Tastes change as you go through your teenage years , for some anyway
Now you are either taking the pee or trolling. Bon Jovi? Seriously?
Cross Road is a superb album tbf
Saw Bon Jovi supporting Gillan at the Victoria Hall in 79/80 I think. They were truly awful and I said to my mate that if these ever made it I'd eat a sh** sandwich. Very soon after they released Slippery When Wet.
A departure from 'First Albums' I discovered these non mainstream bands a few years ago,to me there's something addictive to their songs. Once I view them on YouTube I end up watching all their stuff. I like my songs to tell a story not just words/lyrics thrown together for a rhyme.
First gig Killing Joke 84 Last gig James 2019 Favourite gig there's so many but i'll say U2 at Milton Keynes bowl in 86 them and the Ramones were fabulous....1 2 3 4
These are certainly 3 of the first that I remember buying.
My brother is 4 years older than me so I was heavily influenced by his choices. He'd buy stuff and I'd listen to it. I'd never heard Kiss when he persuaded me to buy it. I still listen to it now.

To be honest I've seen kiss twice Bingley Hall 1980 and Download (can't remember the year) and I can honestly say that musically they are not all that. However, the stage shows are just incredible.
For me their music is dull and uninspiring but visually WOW.

IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN
LIVE AND DANGEROUS - THIN LIZZY
NEVER MIND THE B******* - THE SEX PISTOLS
LIGHTS OUT - U.F.O.
TOKYO TAPES - THE SCORPIONS
Yes 3 of those are live recordings. I just love live material.
Within about 6 weeks of those I had almost 50 Albums as I spent every penny I had spare on Punk and Hard Rock/Metal.
Still taste that sandwich to this day.

Recorded after Roy O passed, hence his guitar on the rocking chair...

Loved the Traveling Wilburys.

Goodness, I had not realised that, but yes, you are right.
Great likeness of Jeff Lynne too, lol.
