Drew a blank in the National yesterday but the best news is that Broadway Boy now seems to be ok after that horrific fall whilst leading the race. ITV certainly came in for some serious flak on Twitter for how they handled the reporting of the incidents of both Broadway Boy and Celebre D'Allen, whose jockey Micheal Nolan was given a 10-day suspension after Aintree stewards ruled he had continued when his mount had no more to give and was losing ground.
On to today's football where Southampton will be relegated with a loss at Spurs ( a certain forum member will be pleased).
You've gotta feel for Aaron Ramsdale as this will be his Third relegation from the Premier League with three different clubs.
Aaron Ramsdale is on course to join unwanted Premier League club. Poor Aaron Ramsdale has already been relegated from the Premier League twice, with Bournemouth and Sheffield United... despite winning player of the year at both clubs during those campaigns.
When he joined Arsenal he must've thought he was settled for the next 5 years after a great first season, only for Arteta to bring in Raya. He deserves to go to a club with a half decent defence in front of him and not being cannon fodder at a club like Southampton.
No doubt the Spurs fans will be giving him plenty of stick for his Arsenal links and that kick.
Well last nights bets were a complete wash out but who cares after that Arsenal display, although Saka & Vinicius could've at least had one SOT to complete the night. I will be looking to recoup my losses in the return leg but until then a little claw back from the £30 loss although I've never been happier to lose a bet.
So it's the return leg tonight, I've not been looking forward to and dreading a game so much for a long time. RM preparations began in the dressing room straight after the first leg as Mbappé, Bellingham & Valverde all made passionate speeches to rouse their troops.
RM are certainly using all things at their disposal according to reports.
I fully expect a RM victory, the only matter being is by how many goals and will it be enough to take them through to the semi's.
The game is gonna be 100mph from the start and the longer we can hold out the better and if we can nick a goal even more so.
Their record in Quarter Finals is quite impressive.
On to my bets but like the first leg I'd happily lose the money if it meant winning the tie.
A bet builder that is RM heavy.
A Bellingham SOT.
Consolation money if the worst happens.
Finally if they do manage it the 20/1 now available will look huge.
On a final note the referee is François Letexier who has officiated six CL matches this season with 26 yellows and 3 reds in those games.
Let's hope we're not talking about dubious decisions in the morning as I'm sure there will be plenty of the 'Dark Arts' on display from both sides.

A free bet to use up today.
The joys of jumps racing,a faller ends the double but then a faller helps secure the win in the other.
On to the lottery which is the Grand National not a good betting race so just a few free bets for interest whilst watching it.

That's enough waffling here's today's bets.
Next up is a Saka SOT.
Then on to Madrid's two main men SOT each.
The price of 11/4 for a RM win seems far too big to me, even though I want Arsenal to win, consolation money would make some amends.
Finally a free Bet Builder.
Rice Rice Baby...
