laters sky poker, used to love this site now its getting silly, stupid hands constantly beating far better ones, i know because i tried it. my hole cards jumping before the river card is dealt lets me know ive lost, fkn explain that, only good thing left is Tikay
have you ever considered that it feels that way because the general player pool has improved while your skills have stayed stagnant...... like do you really know what’s going on these days, how are all these players doing it?
People in general over value their hands and expect to win because they had aces or kings or whatever……go grab a copy of “kill everyone” and look at the percentage time aces actually win when all hands are played out, it’s something like 30%…… sure v a random hand heads up ur chance might be 85% but those 15 other times will feel mighty personal if they result in an exit to 45s or 27o……
Imo the early rounds of a tourney are much tougher to navigate now compared to say four or five years ago….. I dunno what stakes you play, if micro it could also be that you are facing a bunch of fun players, 3 of them sat at your table makes life very difficult because someone always gets lucky.
And if you honestly feel the way you do, how can you say @Tikay10 is the only good thing left, considering he fronts and promotes the thing you are getting all worked up over…..that would make him a baddie in my book, lucky for @Tikay10 i read a different book haha
Maybe you just need a wee break from it, playing all tilted only ends one way.
Kadoom. The game we love can drive us crazy with unfairness and bad beats and losing. But it means your frame on the game is skewed. Pete Clarke YouTube says some of us don’t deserve to play the game - are you that person? The beauty of the game is that any fish can beat any pro at any time. It’s random at times. But the skill of the game comes in making better decisions than your opponents and less mistakes with ranges position patience and understanding how to get value where others don’t. I recently messed up a value hand where I flatted tt in late position C/o. To try and trap UTG but button also flats. My first mistake flop is KT3 spade FD. UTG bets out I flat again. 2nd mistake. Button calls T is Qspades again I flat UTG another mistake. And river brings Offsuit Jack. I don’t have value anymore so I have to fold when button shoves. I messed this hand from start to finish and had to fold. And I have no one to blame but myself. So good luck with future ventures
