Who won what, Sunday 25th August. Sunday Major goes to TIMBER, while FAS takes the £5k BH

This day last year
"Last night saw the first night of increased Main Event guarantee, up to £5,000 from £4,000 & it was great to see it come in at a nadge north of £6,000. However, it was a Bank Holiday & numbers were generally quite frisky, as always on a BH, so it'll be interesting to see how they fare in the next few nights.
Winner of the enhanced Main was young @bearlyther who seems to have resumed playing high volume MTT's here. Doing OK too, in August alone he's now won two Mains (Marksman & Avenger), a Turbo, a Mega & a 7 @ 7. Back in the day he was a serious force, in 2012 he took down a big UKOPS for ~£6,000, and in 2015 he won a Super Roller (called "Sunday Major" these days) for ~£4,500. I see he played the SPT sat too (seat bubbler) so maybe we can look forward to seeing him in Manchester next month.
All hail to @Taximan1 who took the Mini, which seemed a fare result, & he had £235 to chauffeur it (pun copyright of @phantom66), with @steveysee in 3rd.
@DogsWalker has only been here around a month, & until last night his best result was to run 4th in a £1k BH. That all changed in remarkable fashion, as he not only secured his first featured MTT win but his second too - he won both the early evening (18.30 & 19.10) Bounty Hunters. Presumably he had a long lead in both.
Solid night for @Essexphil who won the 7 @ 7, & then booked his SPT Manchester seat at the first time of asking. The other SPT seat went to the shy & retiring nit who goes by the alias of @Natnug
For the third time in as many months, @tonyp142 took the Mega.
@Scattyx has contributed very little volume in 3 years here but has suddenly started playing MTT's & makes their thread debut today with a surprise win in Turbo.
@MikeyW94 played just 4 MTT's last night but did very nicely, with a win (Quickdraw), a 4th (Turbo) & a 6th (Mega).
And finally..... In one of the FTT's last night the 1st & 2nd were @EBBERDON & @wynne1938 were 1st & 2nd. Anyone care to guess their combined ages?"

A satisfactory Sunday with everything covering with the exception of 7 @ 7 which missed by 2 entries.
A competitive Sunday Major FT saw @TIMBER come out on top. He's in his 16th year with Sky Poker & I imagine we'll see him this coming weekend at SPT Manchester. Runner-up was @PAPABURG who has over 7,500 MTT's against his name but seems to have found a new lease of life since early last month, has been cashing all over the shop & his graph has gone vertical. There were min cashes for a whole host of really good players as well as @HAYSIE.
@roghelx won the Mini Major. It's his second Mini triumph, as he won the Sharpshooter version in April of last year. The runner-up on that occasion was @Shrimpy28. Wonder what happened to him?
Fresh from wining & dining with the UK's top trainers & jockeys up at the Ebor Festival, @NChanning won Sheriff from @GSmith13 @loololollo & @glencoelad.
Team Big Boy had a very good night, with wins for @GSmith13 (7 @ 7), @loololollo (£1k Rebuy), @Froozle (Mega), @AlexaAJ (Turbo) @Steed432 (Quickdraw) & @Limp2Lose (MidEx).
However, their domination did not extend to the £5,000 BH which went to @FAS who is almost due his Sky Poker Long Serving Medal, having been with us since March 2007.
@kc66 won the £800 BH & in doing so makes his thread debut.
In the 9 @ 9 @BIGMANPKR took the win, his third featured MTT victory, the previous two both being Reloads. It was also his 2nd biggest score in his 18 months & 115 MTT's here.
The Manchester SPT satellite did not run, which is surprising given that the event is only 4 days away.
@cestlavie won the PLO8. Oh well, such is life.
That's it for today, a little brief I'm afraid, but it's Bank Holiday Monday & there's life to live.
