Further to the above, worth looking at exactly which parties are in the current Coalition Govt. They are:-
1. Likud 2. Shas 3. National Religious Party-Religious Zionism 4. Utd Torah Judaism 5. Otzma Yehudit ("Jewish Power") 6. Noam 7. New Hope
1 and 7 are regular, Right-Wing Parties. Conservatives, if you will. 2-6? All make our Reform Party look Left Wing. Some make the National Front look Left Wing. Religious extremists. Jewish Supremacists.
And Netanyahu cannot govern without their support.
Look up these Parties. I did. And they frighten me every bit as much as Hezbollah.
