OK, I hadn't actually joined this at the start, but now I am having serious thoughts about turning pro. Since the 1st May I knew I had to sort my game out, I was trying to play dodgy hands to get lucky blah blah, basicly at the end of the day donking off money, I needed to get back to my old tight style of play. I had £600 in my bankroll at the time. I decided to play 4x 25p/50p cash tables.
Straight away I got off to a winning start finding playing 4 tables kept me disciplined, it carried on over the whole of the bank holiday weekend giving myself a £400 profit by Wednesday getting my BR up to £1,000. I registered for a weeks worth of tournaments totaling £170. I havent cashed in any of yet ha ha (but i still have dan's deepstack and the primo on sunday) but with my cash games still paying out im back up to £940.
I think if I can consistently win this amount and not play as many tournaments I am making enough to live off. I am going to keep detailed records of my win/losses until the end of August when the world amateur championships are and if I am 4 or 5k up by then by just playing evenings after work then I think playing fulltime is definatly an option.
Its early days but it will all come out in the wash.
started my own br challenge on 28/04/10 before i knew about this started with 25 and now upto 634.84p in just over a week my aim was to get to 200 in 10 days
Bad couple of hours for me on 0.05/0.10, not much fun at all just card dead, missin every flop, outplayed etc etc. Down £22 for night but hopefully better times ahead bankroll = £154.96
Better l8 than never - As ive been offline and am now using a dongle i will just start with the 27 quid in my account and hope to get it to 100 by end of the month
I,ll be playing a bit of everything from lowstakes cash to MTT,s

End of day one ( about 4 hours later ) and about 6 or 7 percent up (it sounds better than £1.79 up)
Havnt put any details to this challenge yet as had to wait until the 5th may for my £5 bonus but have done a chart to show where i have been winning and losing. I am down to £4.12 from £5 but mainly because i had 4 games where the hands were face down or i lost connection after being chip leader and had it in the bag grrrrrrrrrrrr. Anyways am gonna stick with this charting of my progress as not done this before and is good to see where im winning and losing the most. My biggest mistake was to play the £1.10 sit n goes as this was above my BR management that i said i would do.
Okay I played yesterday from 1pm till 5 minutes to midnight, and won a total of 4 pounds and 16 pennies.
201 + 4.16 = Current roll of £205.16
Gonna be fun watching this develop towards the end of the month, Im gonna be risking all to try and chase the guys ahead of me (£100 starters). Hopefully if I can concentrate again, it cud be me being chased! gr8 updates all
managed to get back the early losses. now back to £35.68 despite some connection issues. Grrrrrr. Anyone got any ideas about how not to hit the computer when this keeps happening!!?
