Had a terrible time of it today and last night, trying to play a few DYM and getting the worst players at the low stakes tables going all in with any 2 cards and beating any premium hands, like pocket As beat by Q3 off and AQ beat by 92off after they go all in pre flop and such like. I cant play like this and starting with £5 im now down to 59p just seems pointless with players at this level. I managed to get down to 13th place in the League stars and called an all in when the big blinds were around 6k i had 50k chips they had 20k i had KQ they had pocket 4s flop came and i hit the K then on the river another 4 so out on bubble, should of just folded. Sums up my luck at the moment so Gonna play 1 last 55p sit n go and see if i win it if not my bankroll challenge is over. Will concentrate on the Team thing that starts tomoroz see if i do anygood in that.
just finished - tough night on low stakes cash, not helped by only being able to play one table (borrowed computer - its to slow to handle more - thought my comp was bad only playing 2). Spent most of night 20-30 down , but managed a £16 profit in the end with 1 nice pot. starting bankroll - £27 started day with -£128 current -£144
don,t have a target but this challenge has given me more incentive just to make a proifit each day even if its only 2 quid like my first day
Played last night, normally a bad idea to play Sundays through the night, as it becomes shark city.
What a horrid start I had, lost the 9pm 1k gtd, and both velocities, left me -£16.50, i really really hate tournys atm.....look at my sharkscope graph guys its just a straight line downwards!!!!
Played sky bingo - used to do this all the time, the deal or no deal thing, no luck
Played cash, and got totally Owned by Boonicon on several occasions, it just doesnt make sense for me to play on his table OOP against him, its something I wont be doing anymore.
Doubled everyone on the table up, apart from Dylan.....He runs too bad to double off anyone, even me.
so - £150 by midnight - managed to dig in and get it back, and abit more
I only started playing in January after watching poker on telly and then being told by a friend to come and play some.
My bankroll was a modest £25 and now thanks to a 4am tilted bet on Lyoto Macheda on skybet my balance is £0.00.
So now I am thiking to never use this account for skybet ever again and wondered what kind of bankroll I should be using. Ideally I want to be playing on the 4p 8p cash tables.
well 4p/8p max sit down is £8 (unless ur on the special £10 sitdown table). Eeveryone says different on the amount of pullups you have. I think it all depends on your style, if you are tight and dont fish much then 15 buyins is probably enough, if you are very aggro, and are regually going all in on draws and bluffs etc then I would advise to have about 30-40 pullups as the swings are much greater. It also depends on how many tables you are playing as you obviously have a much larger amount of money on the tables at once

thanks. I am a pretty average like to see flops with a wide range and see what happens from there kind of player.
I have been hitting all-in too much on cash tables but that was on 2p 4p tables where it is very hard to get people to fold any ace whatsoever.
Ok, been a while since I posted. I've been an absolute holding pattern, my BR bouncing between £950 and £750 a few times. Tried to push on a couple of times and played too high which cost me. I've got to sort out my management.
Current BR - £844.50
The TV tart one didn't get any play last Sat because I was in the wilds of Candem Town getting very squiffy but I shall return this Saturday
4 x £5.50 MTTs last night and no cashes, not too disappointed though, close to cash in a couple. £2 MTTs now for me try and have some fun doesn't look like the BR challenge is going to be successful but who knows?
OK- I'm on Play The Presenter tonight and back on my bankroll challenge with a vengeance!
I've stuck £2.15 down on the 2p/4p table Croydon (yes, yes I know it's my whole remaining roll, but I can't go any lower than that!) and the long slow road to getting it back up to £100 starts here.

Not been playing too much but my bank roll is at £147. Just grinding on the £5/£10 double your money tables.

Its been a few days since I last posted, my BR has been up and down, but have managed to get up to £74 now, so steady rising.

BR = £107.25 (from starting BR of £155 odd)
Decided to stop playing DYM's as had a pretty awful run ending £1.50 in the red. Went back to cash and so far built up £7.27 profit.
BR = £73.27
Had a nice surprise on Sunday morning, remembering making a profit when absolutely paraletic the night before.
BR is at £1,277.
£723 to go.
Hopefully get an hour or two in tonight.

So far I'm up to the giddy heights of £2.78!
Good Luck Rich - what a comeback that would be!
Well, Dudeskin and CowGoMoo have just said "well done".
YES!
Believe, Rich, you CAN do it.
