On the home straight now !!! This thread/challenge has been wicked, nice one Rich for setting it up. On the whole, played well (although not as well as Tuesday, but 3 times the profit!) hmmm Got owned all night by Eagle26 - he crushed me, kept getting position on me, my turn to sit in the kool seat next time!!! That one super sik hand, nut straight v set v set got me going big time, and eventually ended up with a nice profit. £1.197.62 + £351.02 = £1548.64 If someone would have offered me that at the start of the month I would have snatched their hand off. Also found $12 floating in another account and got that up to $130 last couple of days 2 more playing days left for DOHH, and theyre wikid ones too, a Saturday, and a bank holiday!!! Could be some big twist and turns to come.!! GL to Shaxx on the grind tomorra night, and gl all in your challenges. DOHH Posted by DOHHHHHHH
br now £43.34 considering how well cash was going at the beginning of the week, I'll take it! Lost a bit of confidence after being rivered a couple of times on big pots and letting it affect me. Went to DYM's to regain some confidence - only 30p/60p ones, whichever were available. So far played 16 - cashed in 14. And had one go at cash and almost trebled mt buyin! More of the same I think for the rest of the month - won't make the target or come anywhere close but I'm going to set my own goal for next month after the weekend. What it will be will depend on the starting point! Here's hoping it'll be to get to at least £100 at the end of June as I've had a good weekend!

Simply awesome mate.
Makes my £14 profit off £100 look a bit lame, mind you. Thanks for that.
(Oh, and I'm not going to even mention the fact that I'm on my SECOND challenge for the month and I lost £100 before that.)
Incidentally, due to the success of this thread those wise folk at Sky Poker have asked me to continue the bankroll challenege through June.
Any suggestions as to how we could shake it up in that month?
How about everyone starts on a tenner- and see who can turn it into the most cash by the end of the month?
Or maybe we should just carry on as we are with various different amounts of cash but aim for the same percentage increase. Let's say 200%?
How about- we all start on June 1st with a tenner and play the 2p/4p tables. Only when you hit a certain figure e.g. £100 are you allowed to move on to the next level.
So throughout the month, we all report about which level we're on, as opposed to how much money we've got. Easy table to set up and a good motivation for everyone- especially since, unlike pretty much any other sport, game, race etc, we'd all be starting on a level playing field.
A true test to see who is the best of the best!
Well, I've rattled off a few ideas off the top of my head there.
ok update, i havent posted 4 a while but im bk on track after a shocking 5/6 day peroid. All profit is coming from cash, having a nightmare in tournies and cant remember even the last time i cashed in one
starting br £ 100
br now £ 710 £ 610 profit
I love the idea of starting down at 2/4p rich, it would be a gr8 challenge for all taking part
Nice idea with 2p/4p...but a tenner? really? .....40% br strategy again Rich !! Will you learn....ever? hehe Posted by DOHHHHHHH
+1 I hate agreeing with JJ but a tenner is not enough imo - That would just be bad BR management - I think the concept is good but I do think that beginning with £50 is more realistic. With your track record in these things Rich I think the more BR there is to begin with the more chance you will have to survive - surely £10 will only last you an hour max he he

Hi Rich i like the sound of that everyone starting with a tenner & move up through the levels dtw
starting br £ 100
br now £ 710 £ 610 profit

What would be your suggestion as to starting amount plus the figures you need to hit to go up to the next levels?
Maybe someone can post a little chart that we can all debate...
e.g.-
Level 1 Bankroll Table
£20 2p/4p
Level 2 Bankroll Table
£160 4p/8p
etc, etc
We want to be able to price everyone in- so I don't think we want to start with more than £20.
What's everyone reckon?

Hmmm, suggestions?
