Not a good weekend for me.  Tried to qualify for SPT Swnasea - failed.  Had a good run in Primo on Sunday until my KK (when I had 5000+ chips) ran into AJ (he had 4000+ chips).  I thought this is great, I will have almost 10k chips and be amongst leaders.  He hit Ace on turn, and I went out soon afterwards in about 160th.

    Start BR £100 target £200
    Day 1 +£6.50
Day 2 +£2.00  (includes £7 cost for Primo Sat - qualified for Sunday)
    Day 3 +£8.80
    Day 4 -£2.00
    Day 5 -£34.40
    Day 6 -£11.00
    Total -£30.10

Havent posted on here for a while (its a lot easier to post when ur winning)  but ended up losing a few quid at the end of May and made a very slight profit over the month.

will start my June challenge from today as I have £40 in account although I have just spent £11 on the
5K bounty Hunter. I know this is is not good BR management but will go down a few levels after this and build it back up

    played 25p/50p

put £20 down - got up to £36 and then got AA on the BB - no callers, then AA on the small blind with 1 caller and got up to about £46, then next hand got 10,s , called a £2.50 raise and the flop came down 10 A A. Raised the initial bet of £3 and when got re-raised I went all in . The other player called with AK.  Then it came 3 on the turn and 3 on the river and that was my bankroll gone.

I had 2 bad beats last week on here where the opponents hit runner runner to win and they always seem to be on the big pots.

Gonna leave it on sky for now, and start a new BR challenge next month

Watched The Club late last night.
    Couldn't believe I got a mention!

Tikay - can you guess where I am from although I am not there now? There are some trams there you'd like! Cable hauled and working since 1902.
Rich - boy or girl!!?  Have a go, you might get it right!

Anyway, back to the challenge. Sessions have been a bit yoyo recently but managing to end up at the end of it. Got to stop making dodgy calls!
Up to £51.09 now (from £41.54). Wooooo!

    Good luck to everyone.

OK- just finished my second session for June bankroll's challenge- 4 hours on one 4p/8p table- starting with a tenner and over the course of the evening I hit the heady heights of £11.50 and on several occasions plummeted down to less than a fiver.

But after one horrendous bad beat- I won't bore you with the details- I soon had all my the rest of my money in with the up-and-down-straight draw + flush draw against AA. Yes, I was favourite. And yes, the Aces held up.

So I lost a tenner all-told tonight, bringing my Family Fortune total to £85.

    So £100 to £85 in 9 days.

The best thing that can be said about THIS challenge is... I may still be losing, but I'm losing at a slower rate this month!

    LOL!

Good luck all- and keep it up!
