Just super tight. Play your big hands, I generally don't play small pairs maybe 88 and up. I remember when I was playing 1dym and on several occasions I didn't even have to play a hand to cash. Let the donks knock esach other out. 10bb or less shove with the first good hand you get if you have the least amount of ships make saure you have fold equity./ hope this helps. Posted by Ms_Chips
In those two hands you have played it perfectly. First hand you only have 2 BB's so any two pretty much, just quite amazed that it is still 5 handed at 300/600 at 30p level ! For him to call you he has to have a descent hand Aces just about fall into that bracket. Second hand I really like the push with AKs with 10 BB's as many donks snap with worse aces or even KQ and you can double up to 3k and be virtually safe. The call with 2's is so awful in so many ways especially as he still has 10 BB's himself and is basically praying you have overs but you could easily have 9's up. As per usual when your running bad the bad calls get rewarded, all you have to do is play it the same way every time and you'll be ok. Posted by Dudeskin8
Cool. I'll put it down to variance and pray that my bankroll of 3 and a bit buy-ins can withstand this sort of bashing come Saturday...
I'm doing not terribly on the 30p DYMs now, just wonderring about this hand. I have no reads as such because I haven't been playing much attention to anything. The short stack has less than 2 big blinds and is in the big blind next hand. Should I fold pre-flop?
All hands standard with your stack size. What's worrying is how low you are letting yourself get in chips. You need to be shoving A LOT to keep ya stack up and being able to survive an all in. It's all about chip accumulation in dyms so you can lose a coin flip and still cash, otherwise it will be difficult to win more than 50%
