Cash games here are a joke and am getting increasingly peed off with being riddled out of my money by constant suckouts. KK dealt twice within 3 hands and surprise surprise massively ahead and i lose both. The second time the usual pair vs pair scenario and the lower hits set on the river. This is ruining poker, this is quite clealy not random as it happens all the time and i boycott this site unless i am reimbursed my £45 Massivley disgruntled Johnnyh1 Posted by Johnnyh
KK lost twice? In 3 hands?
I think you should be on the phone to 999 mate - you woz robbed!
I'm starting to get really annoyed with people that double up and run away as soon as they do, it can be really infuriating, especially heads up. It's not allowed in a live game and shouldn't online either, i think there should be a ten minute rule to leave if you are up on starting money.

I don't want to take sides on this one, as I'm ambivelant to the issue personally, but it IS "allowed" in Live poker. It is frowned upon by some, exactly as it is by some Online, but it is deffo allowed.
PS - Thank you for your lovely PM, really appreciated.

Is it really? Ah see i was told that was the rule on Saturday, i bow to your knowledge and experience! And no probs about the PM.
In Response to Re: Changes to cash games : That's a remarkable situation and is surely an exception rather than the rule. It seems wholly unworkable in any reasonable card room too. Posted by MereNovice
Well there's no way the alea is a reasonable card room lol
Can we stop derailing an important thread? Double up and run/ratholing can't be stopped online so don't even bother wasting time debating this. Short stacking and other issues posted are much more important and need to be addressed. Posted by zing
If you rathole live it's your perogative, but everyone can see you as you skulk out, whereas online I don't even consider it a hit and run. Most places at least (like sky) have the rules where you cant sit back down with less than you sat with if you've played in the last hour or so.

I don't know how it can't annoy you. If there is one thing that really annoys me, its Hit n Runner's.
It's bad when they just quit and not play anywhere, but when you see them join another table with 20bb's it sorta sends me into spew mode (Though you prob don't know difference)

You never know how many hands someone will play, it's online it's not face to face there is nothing to lose by sitting out after a big win and many people who sit in with short money are making a pretty sensible decision standing. It may be bad for you but so what? It's no reason to tilt.
