Car-Crash! Darren hold A-4 on a flop of A-A-4. Oppo holds A-K. All the chips fly in. River, King. Darren felted down to 1,400, immediately shoves & doubles up. Watch this space, it's double-up or bust time. Posted by Tikay10

A new exclusive Interview with Bangle Winner Steve Jelenik is up on the Viva Las Vegas page. It's a real eye-opener. https://www.skypoker.com/wsop Posted by Tikay10
Thank you Tikay for these updates, you are an absolute marvel! xxxx Please get some rest! I worry!
Gosh from listening to Steve`s interview shows just how tough poker can be!
Man Overboard! Darren got it in with 2 pair, but Matey Boy rivered a straight, & that's all she wrote. Darren is off for a little alcoholic sustinence now, I fancy. It's a pretty big ask not to get it all-in with A-4 on a flop of A-A-4. Cooler-City, imo. Unlucky. Posted by Tikay10
Extremely unlucky Darren, chin up mate. You got it in with the absolute nuts, what else can you do? Nothing at all, it's as simple as that. For some reason unknown to us, the poker gods, in their infinite 'wisdom', have decided it's not to be this time. If it was me, I would like to believe it's because there's bigger and better things to come in future. Well played mate, absolutely flawless by the sounds of it.

Guy's table broke, but he seems OK at his new Table. I'm very confident he'll be here for Day Two.
One concern is stamina - he is finding it very tough to maintain his concentration for so long, as he's never played Live Poker for such a long spell before.
He's done very well, imo.
We just had a visit from Haysie, who flies home tomorrow. He's Welsh.

I'm struggling a bit today, as I never got to bed last night, so may need a mini-power nap at the Dinner-Break.

Very Unlucky Darren WP m8
A few more photos have just gone up on the piccy Blog.
The Interviews we filmed with Darren & Guy at the break after Level 2 are now up, too.
Let's hear it for Atilla, who is working miracles here.
How many levels are played today?
Well done Atilla - really great work! And Tikay!
What was the starting stack?
Yes, 4 & a half Levels are played today, each full Level is 2 hours duration.
The starting stack is 30,000.
We are 10 minutes from the end of Level 3 right noew, & Blinds are 150-300. After that, there is a 90 minute Dinner Break.
Level 4 repeats the 150-300, with the addition of a 25 Running ante.
Play should finish just before Midnight tonight, by my reckoning. (That's 8am UK time).
I hope that the fact that you played the hand so well is of some consolation to you.
Cheers John & Tikay for info
