Someone just told me that Gazza was somehow involved in the Moat thing. Surely not? Posted by Tikay10
Sadly yes Tikay!. From what i heard Gazza rung a local radio station up in the North East sounding like he had a few too many sherbets claiming to be a friend of Mr Moat!.
Throat is killing me at the moment, i have lost my voice but Lancashire beat Yorkshire in the Cricket this evening and these updates from Vegas are certainly keeping me informed so in all in all i'm still happy (just about lol!).

It was unreal stuff Tikay. It has been reported that Gazza showed up with some food and lager for Moat while he was trapped by armed officers on a riverbank. It is yet to be confirmed if Moat asked for him or Gazza decided to rock up off his own bat. Either way he then gave an interview to Real Radio where he heavily slurred his words and said he knew Moat from his Newcastle days when Moat worked in the bar and that his was a good bloke. One of the most depressing things I've ever heard, Gazza sounded very drunk and just babbled.
After six or seven hours holding his shotgun to his own head while being monitored by several armed police Sky News are reporting that Moat shot himself at about 2:10am and is now dead.
Guy is getting no cards, but he has no need to panic yet. His Table is quite loose & wild, so although he has a mega-tight image, if he finds a hand, he may well find a spot where someone has raised first,& get themselves pot-stuck. A little bit of luck, or a hand or two, & he's right back in the mix.

Thanks sporny, I'll pass that on.
Kisses back to Beccy, too. xx
I'm "off" on Sunday, so plan to play a little poker then. Can't wait, to be honest, I'm gagging for it. Everyone here is playing poker, & I'm watching it, writing about it, talking about it, eveything but playing it, & it teases a treat!
I was off last Sunday, too, but the morning turned into a disaster, with that bit of Forum trub. The evening went OK though. Life is always peaceful when I play poker, it's just the rest of the time that's a problem.
Tony dropped from 79k to 61k in that Session, & he thinks he had a bad session. He did not. First up, he found K-K, but the flop came A high. He was forced to C-Bet, got his answer, & let go. Then he found the red bullets, but the board gave 4 clubs, & he got severe-resistance, so, again, he let go. This is key. Losing the minimum in these coups is essential. He can go broke in either of those 2 coups, but he did not. Well played him. All is well in Penguin-Land. The 90 minute dinner-break has 70 minutes remaining. Posted by Tikay10
Sounds like a player 100% on top of his game.
And he was ripping SkyPoker up before he left.
And confidence speaks volumes in Poker.
The cards will come.
I'm seriously fancying this man for a cash at minimum.
"particularly when muppets"--- nice one Tikay--lol--they got muppets over there?-- we don't have them on sky poker though innit great job you're doing, well done!!!--- still no photo of you eating a hamburger--lol Posted by oynutter
I havent got a picture of him eating a hamburger but there is a delightful one of a donut being comsumed under the gallery section here www.skypoker.com/wsop
Tony has had a flat session, barely played a hand, & drifted down to about 52k. But he does not need to press, he has plenty, & there's no need to force it at the mo.
The Level ends in 3 minutes, but they have cancelled the "break", which make sense, as it's only been an hour since the dinner break. (The dinner break "split" a level).
So, the final half-level of the day begins in a few minutes, then that's that, & play will cease at about 22.40 local. (0640 UK).
Guy, meanwhile, has put what Dan Brown would call "a wriggle on", & motored up to 28,000, so, from being close to intensive care an hour ago, he's not even an out-patient now.
Blinds for the days last half-level (these half levels are weird!), will be 500/1,000/100.
Guy's table broke, too, & he's now in Pavilion, Table 3, Seat 3. So, at last, he's off Dervilfish's Table. and he survived about 8 hours against him - nice one Guy.

LOL-- Nice one Claire!--you're both doing a terrific job there!- Tell that Tony and Guy--RULE NUMBER ONE------DO NOT PANIC!---RULE NUMBER TWO--- NO WOOLLY WOOFTAS!!
And a tip from my old mate Webby---- Try not to leave the table too often-- if you think you need to go to the loo, wait until you have 2-J off Posted by oynutter
Mr Nutter - behave!
Now then, we have some newwwwwwwwwwssssssss.
Guy Collins table move gave him the change of luck a table move so often does. He'd barely warmed his new seat before it was Raised into him by Mr Deepie, & Guy did the shovey thing.
Mr Deepie made the call, & showed the Lisa-Marie, whilst Guy, who's clearly loosened up a tad, had the Kings. The flop teased, because the J fell, but Mr Deepie improved no further, & Guy had his deserved 2xUp, deserved because he has exercised huge patience. Well done him.
He is on 43,000 now. Very nice too. Does Day Three beckon for Guy? There are 22 minutes play remaining.
LOL-- great stuff !!--- cheers for that news Tikay-- looks like devillyfish is doing some proper yoyo stuff--- 102k---48k----75k-- dat blokes a nutter!!

Are there odds for this on Sky?
Good luck to Tony and Guy.
