Tony Stroud just lost a big lump in a stonker. He had 8-8 on a flop of 8-4-2. Nice. Villain was in with 7-5, & binked a 5 on the Turn to keep interested. The rivered 6 was a brute..... Tony is now down to 30k. His chips will be on wheels now, I fancy, as he makes them VERY mobile! Posted by Tikay10
Awww ul Tony, but you know how to come back! xxx Good luck
It sounds like its going great so far for the Sky players today, very well played and good luck to all, with each orbit costing 5.7K I expect there are going to be fireworks soon.
Regarding the Mizarachi brothers, there aren't 3 of them, there are actually 4! Amazingly all 4 were still alive in the ME and returning with healthy stacks at the start of day 3.
From an online source;
At the end of Day 2B on Saturday, eldest brother Rob had $204,000; twins Michael and Eric had $217,000 and $145,000, respectively; and Donny, the youngest and least experienced of the four, had the biggest stack with $232,000. With the average stack somewhere around $80,000, all four are looking strong. For all four to have made it this far is a remarkable feat.
We have just interviewed Neil Channing. Or, more correctly, I asked him one question, & he replied, without taking breath, for 10 minutes. Great stuff!
The Plasma is currently "down", but I think the Blinds have 1 hour left at 1,000/2,000/300, then then play a "half-level" to finish the day, which I assume will be 1,200/2,400/300.
At the current rate of attrition, barely 1,100 will return tomorrow.

Nice blog.
Very well done team.
We just interviewed J P Kelly during the mid-Level Break. Attila will have it uploaded shortly.
We again went to interview Annie Duke, & again, we got "deferred". Ho hum.

We are now halfway through Day Three, with 2 full levels now completed.
Sue has 123k, after getting off Big v Big.
Tony is clawing his way back after that brutal outdraw, he has 42k.
Guy found his first playable hand of the whole day - 9-9 - & got it all-in v the Lisa, & his hand held, so he's now up to 46k.
Kara Scott, meanwhile, has departed.
Blinds have just increased to 1,000/2,000/300, so the "per orbit" cost is now 5,700.
The already hasty pace of Exits will now increase.
There are 1,674 players remaining.
FWIW, there are some 219,570,000 chips in play, & one player will end up with the lot. MBN.
The average stack right now is about 131,000. That's about 65xBB. What a structure this Tourney has!

Don't forget, Sky Poker has a scheduled outage shortly.
Chip Counts for the Sky Poker Three, & other poker notables, will continue on my Twitter Page, which is http://twitter.com/Tony_Kendall
Normal service wil be resumed tomorrow, Tuesday. Hopefully, our three remaining players will not have any outages.
Daniel Negreanu and 2009 champ Joe Cada both out.
Around 1600 players remaining, 747 will cash.
We have just interviewed Neil Channing. Or, more correctly, I asked him one question, & he replied, without taking breath, for 10 minutes. Great stuff!
I gather Sue has just busted a shortie, Villain had A-K, Sue had the Lisa, & ended up with Trip Jacks!
I'll go see her now & check her stack.
Be right back.
Dinner-Break Chip Counts.
Sue Norsden, 118k
Guy Collins, 30k
Tony Stroud - 18k.
There are 2 hours left to play today.
1,454 players of the original 7,300+ remain.
The Plasma is currently "down", but I think the Blinds have 1 hour left at 1,000/2,000/300, then then play a "half-level" to finish the day, which I assume will be 1,200/2,400/300.

747 get paid.
Welcome back!
It's 2200 Vegas, 0600 UK, & there are 15 minutes remaining in Day Three.
And ALL three of our players remain in.
Sue, 125k.
Tony, 115k. He shot from 18k to 125k in 20 minutes, incliuding shoving 4 or 5 times in ONE orbit!
Guy 60k.
I cannot underestimate how well Team Sky Poker have done, they are all a total credit to Sky Poker.
We are minutes away from three of our 6 players making Day Four.
Blinds are currently 1,200/2,400/300.
The Plasma claims 1,287 remain. I think it's less. 747 will get paid.
Day Three commenced with about 2,550 players.
The Day Three clock has STOPPED. It stops 10 minutes "short", & they play "last 5 hands".
All present & correct, still........
With just 1 or 2 hands to play, here is the score.......
Sue, 112k
Tony, 100k
Guy, 57k
