Flash, what tourns is this going to cover then? The £22 deepy, the £10, the £5 and £3?

So if you enter say the £5 and £20 deepy, then you get points for both I take it? But this obviously means the more tourns you play the more points you get?!

Sorry if I got this totally wrong!

hiya wooooooooo I'm in 3rd already haha

tbh I did look at the league idea and I think that assigning points to every single entrant will become very troublesome to maintain and work out.

some kind of system where only those who make the last 20% or something i think will be fairer and easier to manage....

but whichever way you go for i support it fully and will try and make as many of these tournies as I can!

Im not going to cover the £22 in it, as this is supposed to be promoting the 'affordable' deepstacks starting daily at 7pm ... if anyone wants to start a £22 league by all means go for it.

ANother query I have is... is this going to be done on just points? So if you play 7/7 tourns a week and say come 50th in each one then you will obtain a decent amount of points for coming about mid table... (say 490 points), however if you play 2/7 per week (around 200 points) and final table these two times surely that player should be higher up the league than the player who just plays more tourns?

I think the general feeling from everyone is to make it an average, but with a minimum amount of games needed to be played... i think until we get 10 results ill just add them up, then once we get to 10, could say points will work on an average but at least 3 trnys played (to stop a hit and run). It could run for a month (30 games with a minimum of 8 games played?) how does that all sound to everyone??

I downloaded Excel last night so i can work it out easy enough

Sounds good to me mate. As long as you are fine doing the points per place then it seems fair.

How about running the first one to the end of Sept - thence after month by month (if you decide to keep it up).  Thanks for the time and effort you are putting in, it will be interesting to see how it goes after the first couple of weeks,  Now for the prize suggestions.  I think the winner should get to take on Tikay at theat gladiator game thingy.  Maybe Sky would be willing to give free entry to the Sunday showdown?

lol @ the gladiator game... As for asking sky for a prize (if they choose to then great!) but I did this purely off my own back to try and encourage more ppl into deepstacks, then hopefully improve their game and make steps up to the £22. If sky do want to donate something then great but im not going to ask for it. Bragging rights is a good prize, but im sure somewhere along the way someone will throw in an old poker book or something. :D

I'm more than happy to donate a few little Prizes, but as you say, it's more about bragging rights, & a little side-interest.

Your work on this League is, & will be, much appreciated.

I better get some points tonight after solack robbing me of his bounty, after a ridiculous all in with 2 pair on the flop to be called by  a flush (winning) draw making me lay down my 2-2.

    lol

How about you take the average from the best 10 results.
This rewards loyalty as well as high finishes since the people who play more can discard their worst results.
It also means that if someone plays 9 games and wins them all, they are still likely to win the league.
I know that it's a bit more work to administrate but I'm happy to do the necessary if required.
