Freezing tables

I have been 2 tabling a bit today and had the Sky TV feed on my laptop as well in the evening.  Approx 5 times, 1 table has frozen yet the other one is still running fine. Also, when it unfreezes, the rebuy & Addon tab flashes crazily.  Any ideas why? Another player has also said its happened to them tonight too.

OK this just happened AGAIN on the bubble of a £55 DYM when we were all even chips.  It's ridiculous and could have cost me £100.

    The details are

Can someone please look into this and respond because I don't fancy losing large money on the DYMs due to the screen freezing and me being timed out.

    Hi Phil,

Can you please provide a few more details...

    Browser used?
    Operating system?
Were your tables in mini view or standard view?

This will help us try to recreate these issues and then investigate.

    Thanks
    Lee

I use google chrome and am on Sky Broadband.

It has happened when 2 tabling in standard view.  The strange thing is 1 table is playing fine and the other freezes at the same time! It lasts about 30 seconds and then comes back with the 'rebuys & addons' tab flashing frantically.

    Hi,

I'm going to pass these on to support and we'll do our best to investigate these and find solutions.

For the Chrome issues, chrome isn't officially supported as yet and does have bugs in it's own code that have nothing to do with Sky Poker, so it's difficult to say there is a solution for these isolated cases.
We will however endeavour to find the cause and a solution.

    Thanks guys

    Phil/Lee

I'm no computer expert but I'm not convinced it's a chrome problem cos I also use chrome & haven't had any problems with freezing since the update the other week.

Don't know if that's any help or not?

    Hi,

Any ideas on a date for the replacement software???

I had 2 tables freeze on me today again. Both times I'd just made a huge bet on the turn when I had a monster hand. Someone made a bet on the river and the table never responded until the next hand, by which time I had timed out automatically and folded the hand. It turns out I would have stacked 2 people and tripled up.

I'm beginning to lose money now not through any fault of my own but due to technical issues.

Before anyone asks what browser I'm using, the freezing tables has happened on IE8, FF and Chrome. The issue isn't browser related it's the fact the tables are built using flash or the servers are overloading. The site seems to have been shut down a few times recently for maintenance so I can't help but believe there are some underlying issues somewhere.

It's also not a network issue. I listen to online music services at the same time and the music continues to play whilst the tables freeze. It's also generally just one or two tables that freeze, the other tables continue to work correctly.

I apologise for the rant and it's not aimed at any individual but you have to understand this is obviously a frustrating problem for what seems not only me.

All I'm after is a rough time scale for the new software. 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years????

    Regards
    Jonny

    Hi Jonny,

I have passed your questions onto the relevant department and, hopefully, they can get back to you shortly with an answer. (It may not be until Monday though I am afraid!!)

    Cheers,
    Jordan

You run so good.  I had a freeze with trips v top pair and a flush v two pair.

I use Chrome as well and Sky Broadband.

Suddenly all four tables I was playing froze and was attempting a reconnection it never makes.  My web page was fine going to different sites during the recon.

Sky Tech chaps and chapess's, should I stop using Chrome for Skypoker for a bit?
