Double hold em. its called 'running it twice' it happens in high stake cash games when two players are all in and its a flip 50/50. The players can choose to 'run it twice' to cut down on variance.

I saw this recently on TV with Phill helmuth

It ws high stakes cash but I think they ran it 3 or 4 times and helmuth with the better starting hand lost 2 out of 3, or 3 out of 4. Yet if he,d played it on one hand as he won the 1st one he,d have taken down the full pot

i think thats right  - Did anyone else see it?

Double flop Hold'Em poker is a variation of Texas Hold'em where you deal out two separate boards or community cards. Each player is still dealt out two hold cards to make their hands, but they will get to make two seperate hands to play, one for each set of community cards.

To play, deal each player their two cards, bet, then deal out two flops. Another round of betting, then deal two turn cards. Bet, then deal two river cards. In the end, you should have ten cards face-up in two rows of five. Now each player makes his/her best hand for each row and the pot is split between the winning hand for each board. It is possible for one person to win both hands and scoop the whole pot, too.

I suppose the question is, what are you two actually doing while the SPT is happening?

Rich - trying to gain a black eye on Saturday night so you look more like your Sky avatar? :)
Ed - Out looking for a new phone to replace your sold iPhone? or have you already got another one?
