The software on all sites is not infallible, especially on the aforementioned site, many years back they had an incident when five aces were dealt on the final table of a rather large tourney. the site was shut down and all tourneys cancelled until the problem was fixed.

This isn't true at all. It is like an online poker urban legend. This hand surfaced on some forums a few years back and was proven to be a hoax. The screen shot you have probably seen was clearly doctored.
Also the highlighted above never happened. Where did you read that?

hi Browndog, i read this in 2008 on POKERPROJECT.COM there was an article about this issue including a screen shot . the link for this has been deleted but ithe screen shot looks great. Given the things you can do with photo shop these days who can say if it was original or not... all the same i have been playing on stars when they have shut the whole tourney side of the site down while the cash has been running and the reason given was TECHNICAL ISSUES.. so you cant just dismiss a so called legend.
I'm not saying Pstars hasn't shut down for technical reasons. I was pointing out that you had fallen for an old hoax photoshopped screen shot. It is a fact that this hand didn't actually occur. It has been proven in great detail by Pstars reps on other forums.

stars may have shut the site down for technical reasons but not because the site was chucking out an extra ace. also if the RnG did fail in such a way it would be a universal issue and the entire site would be shut, not just the tournies

you are probably right Browndog, as I have stated you cant believe anything you see in photos these days as computer images are easily changed, the original article if you read it based its argument on the fact that the tourney number and hand id was included , probably why you cant find the pages of the reports and claims , if proven correct you could still read them, more than likely removed under treat of legal action for defamation

in all honesty they looked into it and gave me info back i was tired maybe i was dreaming - i was card dead at the time so maybe i imagined my cards - who knows if i had it recording i cud look back
