Gliterbabe - coming to a TV near you!

That’s right – Wayne Rideout aka Gliterbabe will be gracing the Sky Poker screens this Saturday.  He will be joining Tony ‘Tikay’ Kendall in recording another episode of Sky Poker School.  This new episode will be focussing on Sit n Go’s – at beginners level – so if you have any questions for Wayne or Tikay, then please post them here.  This will air on Monday 17th January @ 8pm.

 

Then at 9pm, Richard Orford will be joining Wayne & Tikay as we hit your screens for 4 hours of cash cash cash, as we bring you the action from our monthly instalment of Master Cash: The Big Game, where we will be bringing you all the action from the £2.50/£5 tables just moments after it has taken place.  So, if you want your questions answered live on air, then get them posted here too.

 

So, tune into channel 865 at 9pm Saturday – enjoy the show!

    Really looking forward to both shows.  I've got a huge amount of respect for GB and it'll be really interesting to see what he views as 'the basics' for SnGs.

    Also him on Cash will just rock

    Hi Mandy.
    I see from a certain statistics website that gliterbabe is currently on super tilt at the mo -
     
    Can you ask him:
    Do you take any notice of these stats & does it effect your game?
    Do you think that other players try to benefit from this & play differently against you based on your current stats?

    Ok im going to go for an easy-ish one......

    In a STT do you treat it like a MTT around the bubble? if your 2nd and 3 left do you try not to play against the chip leader if you dont have to (blinds etc) or do you think you should be pushing good spots so you have more chance of the win?

    Also for the show please give a mention to 18 seater ones as i think these will make sit n gos popular again, other then DYM they have really dipped in traffic which is a shame used to play them all the time

    last time the show was cancelled because off snow, would the show be cancelled if it was the wrong type rain ?????

    You never know. Lea116311 and myself were at the recording of this episode of Deal Or No Deal. You can see us several times in the front row wearing silly rain hats from about 3-35 onwards.

    I think at this time, blinds were 600/300/50, though they may have moved up a level.

    I believe GB made a similar shove soon after and doubled up again when going in behind.

    I think GB had position so was it failed attempts to steal the blinds, or simply that GB's strategy in relation to the blinds, was that he's looking to get busy and will accept a double up or out, with almost any 2 cards in almost any situation?

    I'm sure it was more tactical than that and had much to do with table image and position.

    What was really impressive was that from 2 'dodgy' situations he proved he has the game to go on and win the event.

    I would love to hear Wayne's review of his position at this point in the Newcastle event and understand Waynes thoughts on how he generally play's tourneys, in respect to stack size and blinds.

    Not really a question but I'd like to see Wayne explain the concept of Gap Theory (not just the fact you need bigger hands to call, but why you do).  I personally believe it's one of the most important aspects to winning SnGs long term.

    1) If you played 100,000 hands heads up v Gerrard9, who would win? ;)

    Obviously since you began playing poker, you have moved through the cash levels........

    2) At what level did you start playing heads up alongside ring games? Have you always sat waiting for heads up action?

    3) When somebody sits against you on a heads up table, and you have never heard of him before, what is going through your mind in the early stages? ......

    ......Are you excited that this guy might be a total fish and be the guy to donate you a weeks wages? Or ever worried he might be a shark and give you a tough time? - Or neither? lol

    How long does it to take you to assess his ability, is he a fish? is he gonna be tough? etc etc.......

    4) You are probably sky pokers ultimate grinder, with great powers of concentration, discipline and patience. You're known as quite a tight player......

    Are you ever tempted to close some tables off, and take on the best players on the site in the biggest game running, mixing it up with them, 3/4/5 bet them light, and show off a different side of your game, rather than grinding constantly?

    5) A few months ago you were playing alot of 50nl. How did the games compare to your usual sakes of 200nl and above? How did you change your game to adapt to the tables at a lower level, if at all?

    Hi guys, I am really looking forward to the show tonight!!

    I am currently multi tabling small stake "dym's" and i think the most important thing about these is survival and getting your money in first. Perhaps Wayne could share his thoughts on dyms?

    If you get a chance please can you show this hand from my first table this morning from a £5.50 dym?

    Its a fun hand, doesn't need any analysis. fwiw, i am only 3 betting with AA here in a dym this early. Otherwise i keep pot small.

    hi Wayne ,i have some pretty good results playing sit n gos around  the £5 and £10 level ,im pretty much tanked up on carlsberg at this point in the evening  ,and im raising and calling allins with any 2 cards just for the **** of it ,then i normally luckbox my way to complete victory ,,,,,,,so my question is ,i think it is time for me to move up a level ,say £22 or £33, do you think wayne ,i should increase my alcohol intake ,or drink  something stronger, like  Stella artois or kronenburg 1664 ,too adapt too these games ,your imput would be very much appreciated .....ten :)    congrats on spt newcastle by the way
