(As requested, I'm starting a new thread to avoid causing further confusion!) Ladies and gentlemen, the £15k GTD Primo tournament commences at 8pm. It'll cost you £55 to enter. The accompanying TV show will appear on channel 865 at 9pm. Tikay and I will be sitting in the swivelling white chairs, along with our special guest star Nick Pryce . Please e-mail your questions for Nick to skyopen@bskyb.com, or post them in this forum thread, along with your play-my-hand requests (from the Primo) and your thoughts on tonight's hot topic... Do you remember the poker scene of 2001? None of the major international tours (WPT, EPT, etc.) existed; Internet poker was in its infancy and was still considered a novelty; the WSOP main event attracted 613 runners; 'Late Night Poker' was the only Hold'em show on TV; and my co-host still had sensible hair and most of his own teeth! Suffice to say, things have changed dramatically in the last 10 years. So, what does the future hold for the game we know and love? What will be the state of the poker industry in 2021? It's crystal ball time, people - get predicting! Posted by J-Hartigan
hi guys how true is it that thewy is playing sat at luton, also are you two playing the 100 freezeout fri nite if so see you there, cheers shauny
Hi. I have only been playing poker for 3 to 4 months on the smaller tables. Nick has been a great help on the forums and i just wondered what level he started out and his advice on when and if to move upwards?
lol at showin the J-10 hand (really hoped u wouldnt haha) couple of hands previous i had lost majority of my stack to the same guy nut flush - to fullhouse. totally tilted, my play was horrible.after wot i had seen from opponent i was shovin J high for value - not makin a move ;-) absolutly awful tho totally agree!
Oh well, thats the Vegas dream over for a bit longer! :-) My straight ran into a flush and left me shortstacked and after that Nutter5932 finally put me out of my misery. Great show as ever guys.
Could I also say a quick hello to my newborn daughter Rachel who wouldnt be here if I had reached Vegas last year against Kidgirlgy. Was definately meant to be! :-)
Good luck to all players left in it tonight. VERY tough field.
ratedRKO, you seem to be doing really well on Sky poker since you joined. You seem to be mixing it amongst the best on this site. How are you finding it?
What will be the state of the poker industry in 2021?
I predict that the main event will have 25,000 entrants, $20k buy-in, all games played online via video link, half will be eliminated in 1st week vs AI (SKYpokerNET). FT will be in 3D with ridiculous avatars replacing players.
Followed by celebrity come play poker in space. Where floating will be compulsory.
i think in 2021 live poker will of come full circle and it will be played only by a few above shops and in private clubs after dark to get away form the huge taxes that a continuously greedy government place on it, and as petrol goes beyond 10 quid a litre no one can afford to play live and as for online it will be all be virtual reality 3d stuff, probably just used by sex starved students wanting to mingle and organise a midnight call!!
As tikay's age as now started going backwards, by2021 he should be about 60, and i think they might have invented something to sort your eyes out,(maybe it could be with lazers, (from£220 per eye.), and stop him getting all confused with which pair to put on

I predict that by 2021 the game of choice, and the WOSPE will be PLO.
