Is there any chance one of these could be run in an afternoon, say the Thursday game? There tends to be a completely different crowd in the day from the evenings. And on a personal level, I could commit to six Thursday or Friday afternoons but not 6 evenings. There must be others in the same boat. Posted by BigBluster
+1, I'm in that boat too.
Surivor sounds like a great idea, but I'm another who can't play evenings. I'll give it a crack on Saturday, but a 8-30pm start to me (I get up for work at 1-30am) is the equivalent of a 2-30am start for somebody who works a 9 to 5.
I have a feeling we may see a full house for theses games. I can't remember the last time I saw a game with over 100 players registered with 24 hours still to go.
Did i hear about the possibility of a Survivor tournament where the blinds go up and the lowest 10 stacks drop out each level till the final table ,maybe Tikay can answer this one?
I have registered for tonights survivor even though I can't play it as I'm going to watch Northampton probably lose against Torquay. It will be interesting to see where I finish, does anyone think i'll have a chance? Posted by splashies
A couple of people i've spoken to are doing this.
I know there are tonnes of plonkers on here, but surely someone isn't going to fluff it on the bubble when theres like 20+ players away and just waiting to bust.......

I reckon a decent chunk of the field won't even know what this tourny is about. In their eyes they will just see it as a normal MTT.
I just hope I run good when i'm all-in for 10 chips every orbit.
What happens if one of the first round games has an odd number of entrants? Is there an "extra" place up for the next stage or one less? Posted by silentbob
I've no idea, to be honest. I would imagine the field size would be "rounded up" by 1 to make it an even number.
So if you play for for 6 weeks and get to the last 6 of 1 of the nights before the winner goes through to week 7 and you finish 2nd. You get naff all? Posted by murray69
That'd be correct, yes - so there will be 6 "cash & prize bubble" nights. In fact, EVERY night will have a major "bubble".
That'll be incredibly exciting to be part of, or even watch, don't you think?
