Satellited into the leeds spt on 7th may (very excited) but have a few quick questions...
Are u e-mailed with a ticket or confirmation that you have registered for the tournament? Or do u just turn up on the day?
Does it start at 2pm or on the morning?
What is the friday night tournament on the 6th? And is it worth playing?
Will I be a bit a lonely becasue i dont know ANYONE that will be there as i'm not familiar with anyone on the site?
Finally how old are most people there as i am only 19?

2pm in the afternoon is the start time
No email confirmation but there will be a player briefing on this board about a week before the event
Don't worry about not knowing anyone, they are a friendly bunch. If in doubt when you arrive just ask a member of Sky staff and they will introduce you to a few troublemakers lol
Friday's comp is a £15 freezeout I think. Certainly worth playing both for a good laugh and for good practice
Don't worry about being 19. I am only 18, so you won't be the youngest.
Also is there any particular "do's and dont's" i should know about and is there any particular dress code?
You can probably i am new to the live tournament scene haha!
Dress Code etc will be in the player briefing. Normal casual dress is fine
See you at leeds!
gl tho boro, u will enjoy, everyone is very friendly !!
Not sure if am goin yet, better make me mind up quick tho !
Have no fear about being new to the live game, there is often quite a few people in the same boat and we've all been there at some point. Also, look for anybody with a sky label with their name on, I'm sure they'll be more than willing to help you out and settle your nerves, I always find a few vodka red bulls works for me.
All the best in the tourney and the whole day out you'll certainly enjoy it and be chomping at the bit for the next one to come around, good luck.
And look out for the Orange shirted TKP, we are a friendly bunch and keep the action going with fun SNG's later on
Dave

An extra 5 tables going in, replacing the restaurant area
So tiny is a huge exaggeration, it will be fine
Yes the Alea is a lovely casino but they wouldn't do a 150 runner tournament for us. Indeed they struggled to do an 80 runner tournament for me previously.
The Gala didn't want to host us
So there's not a lot of point hankering after other venues that weren't feasible, is there?
