    So if i'm correct -

If I enter all of them, in theory on day 6 (as long as I survive all the others) I will be multi-tabling 7 tables at the same time?

NOOOOO!!!!!! You will only ever play 1 game, if you enter on sunday it cost you a quid, if you win you go through to monday, if you lose your OUT!! but you can still play the monday one but it will cost you another 2 quid, this process repeats for the whole week, one game each night, but if you are OUT on any day it will cost ya to re enter, double the previous days cost up to a whopping £64 on the last day, a bit like VLV if ya like!

Good luck everyone.  I will probably just go for the final.

Should be good fun but it's not really like the original Survivor is it.

Think the numbers may drop this time round (hope im wrong) hard for most players to be here 7 nights in a row, (as quite a few have said already)

i have no social life tho, so will be playing for sure :)

OK, having thought about this, I will now ask....

Is this a 'level' playing field for all?

Those who have regular nights out during the week (I know a few on here who do) will not realistically be able to join in unless....

They are a 'higher' BR player who can buy in on any night they chose.

This is just my opinion and I hope I do not get berated for it but hope Sky Poker understand my point. A good idea but not very workable for the many on here IMHO. We will have to see the runners for this and also the number of direct buy ins to the final to really see if it works.

Im fully behind any tourny that pushes out "lower stakes" players.

Get them out of the tournys and leave them with no option but to play the cash tables plz.

Get rid of all the sub £5 mtts too, now the mini ME is here we/they don't need the rest.

    Nice work sky,

Deffo, we'll have a Sky Poker Last-Longer. Did you know I have a Villa in Spain funded by Last-Longers?

Hoppy will be there, too (I can call him that tomorrow, as it's a day off) so Hursty will be worried - I bust his K-K at Leeds, & then Hoppy owned his soul at the Cash Tables.

    See you tomorrow.

Not sure if it's a "level playing field" or not, Alan, but I'd say it was spectacular value for those who decide to just have one punt for a quid, with odds of something like 600/1 or 700/1 for a winner who pays a quid & wins it, or have "two shots" & get about 250/1. Even 4 shotters & 8 shotters are guaranteed value way above an "ordinary" MTT winner. Someone who buys in direct to the final & wins it will be getting more like 10/1. So, no, not a level playing field, & if anything, it favours the "one or two bullet" players, as they get much greater odds. Deep-rolled players get far worse odds, but may consider them decent value as they have confidence in their ability to beat a varied field.

Assuming a first prize of, say, £750, then....

1 shotters get about 750/1 their money. (More if the Guarantee is beaten).

2 shotters get about 250/1 their money. (They will have spent £3 to win £750).

4 shotters will get about 107/1 their money.

If the Tourney beats it's Guarantee, then those odds will increase, of course.

For comparision purposes, if someone wins, say, the TSP Classic, they probably get 40/1 their money. So I'd say it was decent value, personally, though there are bound to be those who disagree.

It's understood that it will displease "many", but equally, it will please many, too. It's just not possible to please everyone.

There were lots of comments that the previous "Survivor" lasted too long, & people lost intererst, so they have listened, & tried to address that. It might not work at all, in which case they'll tweak it again, or just abandon it.

Sky Poker should, in my opinion, be applauded for the conveyor-belt of new ideas they keep coming up with, 1 after the other, & I doubt any other Online Room can claim credit for so many innovative ideas. They have also Guaranteed the Prize Fund at £2,500 even if the thing is a complete flop.

There are many more different ideas & promotions in the Sky Poker pipeline, all queued up behind each other, some will be very successful, others will be epic fails I expect. But at least they are trying, & trying hard.

It takes courage to keep trying these new ideas, because they are always going to get a bit of flak when a few players don't like them. Ultimately, everyone has a choice, & can decide whether or not to play this, or anything.
