On a personal note, sorry if you thought the call I made yesterday was slow. After you shoved my computer froze for a bit and I had no buttons (I was actually jabbing the screen willing the buttons back to call). I typed this in the chat box after the hand but I'm not sure if you saw it.

You run so good. I normally can't play Thursday nights so delayed leaving until the last possible moment. The plan was to play loose early on and get a decent stack to survive, so of course I was down to half of my starting stack 30 minutes in. Luckily I found a few reshove spots to get up to 3k. Just as I'm putting my shoes on and wondering if 3k is enough 8 from the bubble I get KQ suited in the BB and SB shoves their 3k stack. I decide to chance it, they have jacks, I bink. Happy days, shut down, get in car, put toe down.
In answer to your question I'm sure this is essentially a steps comp, we play to half again and those who survive join the buy ins on Sat night for the final.
