MASTERCASH 300 21/05/11 - DID ANYONE ELSE SEE THIS?

Hi all, this relates to mastercash TV shown live on saturday 21st May did anyone notice the following hands that took place in succession??? and if so whats there thoughts on how it happened

About 2hr 5 mins into the show they started to show the Mastercash table 17 (£1.50 / £3.00)
1st hand they covered was this (all with regualr players including 2 members of TSP)

AJS4385          QS AH    1038.76
LOLUFOLD        7D 4C    1601.01
BURNANATOR    AC 8H    177.98 (Dealer)
OMC                JD 10D   1074.60
BOMBDOG        6H 10S   782.70
PEG1               8D 3D     633.07 

Cards on the board where 4S 3S 7D 10H

The hand involved LOLUFOLD & OMC and resutled in OMC folding on the turn to a raise by LOLUFOLD

Now for the really intresting bit - DID ANYONE NOTICE THE HAND SHOWN DIRECTLY AFTER?????
Same table same players

AJS4385           QS AH   1038.76
LOLUFOLD        7D 4C    1601.01
BURNANTOR      AC 8H   177.98 (Dealer)
OMC                JD 10D   1074.60
BOMBDOG        6H 10S   782.70
PEG1               8D  3D    633.07

ALL THE PLAYERS ARE SOMEHOW HOLDING THE EXACT SAME HOLD CARDS HAS THE HAND SHOWN BEFORE - NOT ONLY THAT THEY ALL HAVE THE EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF CASH ON THE TABLE!!! (WHERE DID LOLUFOLDS WINNINGS GO FROM OMC???)

The next strange thing is that this time round AJS4385 raises preflop (LOLUFOLD who won the previous time FOLDS preflop and is not involved in the hand at all!!)

This hand involves AJS4385 & OMC and resulted in AJS4385 folding on the river to a raise by OMC
after a COMPLETLY different board

2S QD JH 2D JS

If you have not seen this played out or did not notice it when watching mastercash i would urge you to watch one of mastercash's repeats over the next few days (remember its about 2hrs 5mins into the program and both hands are back to back)

I PERSONNALLY CAN NOT THINK OF ONE PLAUSABLE EXPLAINATION FOR THIS AND WONDERED WHAT THE REST OF THE COMMUNITY THOUGHTS ON IT WHERE - AND PARTICULARY COMMENTS FROM ANYONE RAILING THIS IN REALTIME OR FROM ONE OF THE SIX PLAYERS SAT AT THE TABLE

As this has got to be by far the STRANGEST thing i have ever seen in poker and especially with it being covered on LIVE TV!!!!

    Also did you notice that lolufold is holding 7d and the flop also has 7d.........well spotted btw .

    I think its more a case of mistakes on live tv rather than any conspiracy theory. You do get gremlins in the sky computers you know.

    Can't say I was watching closely enough to notice this.  But if it did happen then I suspect the problem occurred in how the tables and hands are generated for the TV.

    As I understand it a certain amount of manual intervention is required to get from an actual hand played to having the hand played back on TV.  Possibly someone made a human error.  Pesky humans.

    Sometimes they show the same hand 2 in a row by mistake.

    The hands were prob loaded up wrong.

    Hi all,

    Without having watched the show, it's hard to say exactly what happened but I suspect it was a software glitch. The cards being dealt to exactly the same would have been very unlikely, but the button being in the same seat might be even less likely!

    More seriously we'll see if someone from the studio side of things can come and give you a rough idea of what happened.

    I'm neither in or out when people post in area51........i'm of the opinion that this community has the opportunity offered by this poker room for some really interesting, intelligent and sometimes whacky debates and I for one enjoy reading all these different pov's............I really only posted on here bcoz I happened to notice the error but not for one minute do i subscribe that anything untoward is going on.

    I DID !!

    I wondered why OMC floated the 7 high flop with TJ...no pair, no draw.....turned a 10 for top pair...then folded to lols turn bet.....

    That explains it!! He didn't actually have TJ as was shown on screen! He couldn't have....

    I did notice AJS also folded AQ pre flop to an OMC min raise utg.

    Again, surely this wouldn't really have happened? he didn't have AQ?

    I think it's Trevor's fault as he must have mixed up the cards when he dropped the clicker on the floor.

    Not if you saw the betting from one hand and the cards from the previous hand.

    The cards were showing the same both times, but the betting different.

    Would AJs fold AQ in position pre flop to a min raise from the weakest player at the table?

    Would OMC call with TJ on a 7 high flop, then fold when a 10 came on the turn?

    The betting was correct but the hole cards we could see weren't the cards that the players were actually playing.

    theres was also a point in the show where during a hand the cards disappeared for a second, the software that runs the hands on tv was obviously playing up as it has done in the past. some people really do believe everything they see on tv.

    I saw a bit of the show last night and noticed it showed me fold AQ in a spot I would never fold, I didnt time out so I think there is something funny going on somewhere. I dont believe its to do with the actual site but more likely the tv end. As I didnt notice anything strange at the tables.

    Let me just say that I have easily played more than a million hands on Sky and I have never had any concerns about the integrity of the RNG. I play the highest 6 max games going and I would not do this if I had even the slightest concern about the site.

    However, I think Sky should have a look into what happened just to put peoples mind at rest.
