Loving some of the proposed Tourney Titles - keep them coming, too.

So far I've seen "Sunday Night Slow Rollz" & "Sunday Night Steam Roller", both of which are the right idea, "fun" titles.

I like "Save our 'Leccy Pylons", which sounds like a real livewire title.

    Hello Tikay,

my suggestion is to have a greater range of satellites where the proportion of entrants who qualify vary according to the buy-in.  For example for a £100 buy in tournament the ways to enter are:-

    £100 direct buy in
    £20 for a 1 in 5 qualification
    £10 for a 1 in 10 qualification
    £5 for a 1 in 20 qualification
    £2 for a 1 in 50 qualification
    £1 for a 1 in 100 qualification

there would also be several runnings of each satellite.  as an inducement it might be good to guarantee one entry in every satellite.  the judgement for the skypoker gurus is to schedule these events to ensure a return.

If someone hits the nail right on the head, & comes up with a stonking idea/solution, they will get Free Entry into the inaugural running of the new Sunday Night biggie - if it happens.

+EV to risk sounding like an idiot at the chance of that then! For the proposed sunday biggie I'd like to see:

    * A daily entry level satt in primetime (probably 7.30 or 8.30 to catch the pre ME or early busto crowd) - £6 + .60 entry or thereabouts which would see 1 in 5 enter...
    * Weekly semi @ £30 + 3, Thursday night, again in primetime
    * Last minute £30+3 satt on sunday afternoon, and, most importantly...
    * The same/similar structure to the roller/ds/hypothetical sunday biggie tournaments throughout

The last one is the main thing. Support for the roller/DS structure has been pretty universal, right? I certainly found the structure a revelation compared to the sky MTTs I cut my teeth on and would love to play the roller again, but sensible BRM dictates no direct buy in at that level for me. I would, however, plan a weekly satt campaign around the above.

Would love to see an hour highlights package of the DS/Roller on one of the live off nights too, though not sure how that'd go down with the regs.

Ok i think the Buy in should be £150 + Rake

I think the structure should not revolve around the TV show and if so the other way round eg. longer show or start later but with hands from the very beginning shown.

    The main problem is Satelites:

I Propose 2 ways to solve this.....

Satelites should also be in STT style with different levels that way it doesn't matter what time of day you will have a chance to get in.

A nightly MTT as suggested for entry to Semi finals, maybe 2 buy in levels so you get a chance with 1 in 10 and 1 in 20 etc...

I think the Satelites that run at the momment are at bad times, you should as well as the above have as it is now but regular slots  every half hour 6pm-9pm, maybe even these sats to give entry directly to the semi of the same/next night depending on time

As for a title ' The Sunday Special'

if you are looking at another higher buyin tourney then i think the introduction of sattelite step tickets need to be introduced. this would allow lots more lesser players to win there way there. not everyone can make the fixed semi final times so by winning tickets allows them to start a sit n go around the time they can fit it in.

i think the issue about another biggie will revolve around the sites traffic. is it enough at current levels with enough players who would play?

should it run then why not a triple stack, 6000 starting stack n is 20 mins blinds too much? 1st level 15, 30.
i would start it early evening maybe 6 or half 6, the name  "The Sunday Stroll" unsure what the buyin should be but im guessing it would have to be the £150 mark

Tintin what you have suggested is a bit of a craphoot, most higher stake players will not play unless 500BB and slow structure etc

I think your idea could be good for the lower stakes fwiw eg. £5.50

I would assume with starting stacks that would be ok, but i dont think they will ever start blinds on 15/30

15 minutes is long on online terms so would be more then enough, 10 standard etc

Again i think thats a great idea for a micro version @ £5.50 so if they're going to put another in for the higher players surely they should do something like this ?

Tikay .. probably not what you are looking for but why not MOVE the £200 monthly Thursday event to Sunday,  increase the field to 100+ and make it weekly ?   This would satisfy many of the criteria and the starting stacks and blind structure could be tweaked to fit.

Then, the £100 Skyroller could run every Thursday.  This would also simplify the schedule ..

every Thursday .. £33 BH and Skyroller

every  Sunday .. £55 Primo and Biggie

On the contrary Mr Inka-Pinka, it is EXACTLY the sort of idea we are looking for.

    Thinking outside the box ftw.

    Excellent suggestion.

    Any one else "Like"?

I really like the idea of DYM style sats, i would definatly try to complete 4/5 levels for a shot at a "Biggie". I mainly play £5 double ups and then evening MTTs, so if DYM sats were introuduced they would be perfect. Like the survivor that is going on at the moment, buying into sats at deferent levels would be excelent, with a ticket for the next level so you can play when it suits you.

    +1 to inka

i would like to add for the skyroller, change the sats so that there are daily quarter finals, and a weekly semi final. this would ensure the numbers in the semi final to get people interested in them. instead of having daily semi finals that sometimes only get 1 seat. people like to see runners in the sats, if everyone is in one big semi it would bring more people in to play it.

also i think this would be whats needed for the new sunday biggie, along with sit and go satellites.

lol. Agree with this though, the DS/Roller feeder structure isn't working too well, in my experience. They're none too visible and often cancelled. Not sure what the solution is? Nightly £11 1-in-10s in primetime? More talking it up on 865? Running a primo style feeder structure throughout the week? Deffo think redking is on to something and that tweaks to the sat structure would mean more players in the bigger events though.

What you ''lolling'' about, i tell ya what, you put up a tourney in the lobby every week for a £100+ direct buy in and see how many you get!!

I have a new idea how about the skyroller/DS starts at 6.30 pm, the earlier time would mean it will finish reasobably before 12 for those that work, as an added advantage those who go out early can then go into the Primo

    U like?

Also i was thinking maybe there should be a Satelites tab, eg. cash/tourney/Stt/ Satelites that way it would be easier to access? can include STT formats also highlight semi's

Tikay, as outlined in my earlier post.

It should be called the Sunday Night "Steamroller".

    Sub-sats, STT-sats (10 seat) and Qtr-Finals as required daily, £1.60 & £7.20 (as BH),
however that only gets you to the Semi-finals on Wednesday & Saturday @
    8:30pm.
    Saturday 9pm to Sunday morning sats, Sunday Q/F’s 12pm to 2pm & S/F @ 4:30pm,

    Sunday night Final starting @
    7pm.

    5000 chips, blinds 12mins,
    25/50, 50/100, 75/150, 100/200, 150/300,
    200/400, 250/500, 300/600, 400/800, 500/1000,
    600/1200, 800/1600, 1000/2000, 1250/2500, 1500/3000,
    1750/3500, 2000/4000, 2500/5000, 3000/6000, 4000/8000,
    5000/10000, 6000/12000, 8000/16000, 10000/20000, 12500/25000.
    15000/30000, 20000/40000, 30000/600000, 40000/80000, 50000/100000
