hey hey hey... surely he finished in the prizes, therefore nullifying his seat... right?

Thereby giving his seat to the next highest placed finisher.

OH, that just happens to be me!! WP.

Great comp, shame I missed it earlier.

Gotta say I'm with Deuces here though!

Orford's rules clearly state a seat into the semi for the top 3 players OUTSIDE the prize spots.

I'd definitely be referring this to the 3rd umpire - controversial!

Nice work guys. So, on their own merit AcidMan, MAxally, StokeFC and UnBPower are through to the semis. And as a Brucey Bonus- 67Bhoys ( who got a massive result with the seat plus cash!), mkgunner and sara36DD get seats too as the 3 highest finishing players who'd stuck their names on this list. Can these last 3 please let me know on here before tomorrow afternoon whether they want to play in the Saturday or Sunday semi? If I don't hear from you I'll stick you automatically in the Saturday one.

Right chaps- sorry about the confusion. But what I meant was the highest finishing players who hadn't won a seat.

It's kind of obvious when you think about it- it's only come unstuck because 67Bhoys happened to cash £19.20 which was almost the cost of a semi seat.

If 5th had been worth £5, do you think it would have been fair that 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th got seats, but 5th went home with £5 and no seat?

I'll make it more obvious next time, but I hope on this occasion that common sense prevails. I sense that everyone's being tongue-in-cheek and good natured about it anyway, so fair play.

Basically, Deuces. Unlucky mate! But nice try. ;-) Coming TENTH in a 24 runner comp and trying to blag a seat. Loving your work.

    Sara36DD- you're in on Sat.

67Bhoys -the less we talk about my third eye, the better

haha what can I say... you gotta try right! :p

Seriously though I was never actually after the seat, tongue in cheek it was. I was planning on playing for the cash and the seat myself, so to try and weasel in now on a technicality really would be a tad hypocritical. And how unlike a poker player that would be :)

Good luck to all in the semi! Hope you run good and get a full one instead!
