I know how they both feel because i qualifed with Sky for vegas in 2008 and i also exited on day one. They can do without smart comments from people that think they know better like Stafford.
But one thing for certain is that they will have thorougly enjoyed playing in the WSOP ME, and they will defo enjoy the rest of their holiday, as i did! Vegas is an amazing place to be, so make the most of it. I did and i loved it! I still have fond memories of the trip of a lifetime with Sky Poker.
As tikay has said many times Team Sky Poker is a bit special, and Jonny and Roy will rail and support the others im sure.
Very unlucky both of you...on day 1 you are usually just one cooler from going out. And that doesnt just happen to Vegas rookies. This year as last year many superstars will meet the same fate.
You both did great to get there, that is by far the hardest bit. Most of the people who make smart comments will never be able to say they have played the big one.
So you now have the chance to really enjoy the rest of your time in Vegas with no pressure, whether its playing poker, or exploring the citys other delights.
Me ? Jealous ? Of course I am..... just enjoy every minute of it !

Unlucky guys. I'm sure when the dissapointment goes you will look back on your day fondly. Being able to play in the biggest tournament is quite an achievement.

As other ppl have wrote on here UL GUYS, i for one think you've done an amazing job getting to the WSOP. i've played in the main event a few yrs ago now, and went out 3rd hand lol.( you need luck as well as skill )....... It's an amazing event and would love to be out there playing. Enjoy the rest of your time out there whether its just as a holiday or playing a few tournaments..
