Yesterday wasn't the day for Jonny and Roy, both of whom came unstuck against some of the best in the world on Day 1a. Today we hope the Sky Poker ship fares a little better, with Ryan, Matthew and Chris all taking to the felt.

Tikay and Claire will be uploading videos throughout the day, which you'll be able to find on www.skypoker.com/wsop. Yours truly will be on words and pictures, so if you have any requests for pics/hand histories/anecdotes let us know and we'll do our best to get them from you.

heard he switched to 1d as he caught a cold.  so many people have them out here.  think its a mix of the constant air con and handling chips that have been touched by thousands of people.

 i've had one too, still kinda do, but kept to 1b!

I have the sniffles too, and I am doing all of the Day 1s! :P Totally right though - the air con in the Rio is a bit OTT, which then sends people in to a head cold funk. Good times!
