UK Cash Game - Official Show Discussion Thread

Tonight is the night! Redmond and Wayne sit down with the likes of Thewy, Paul Jackson and Nik Persaud to see how they match up to some of the best known faces in British poker.

If there's a hand you want to discuss or questions you want to ask about the show, this is your thread! Hope you all enjoy Episode 1 - remember, 11pm tonight or Sky + it if you're headed out for the evening. Frankly I think you should cancel... :)

    Each of the players will be starting with £500 and the blinds are £2/5. Redmond Lee and Wayne Rideout will be at the tables so this will be a great opportunity to see how they both ply their trade in the flesh against a pretty solid line-up.

    Also at the tables is Julian Thew, and you've not entered our UKCG competition already be sure to do so here. All you need to do is guess how much Julian will be up or down at the end of the episode. Entries close at 10pm. Good luck!

    Oh, and the bad news.

    Orford and Tikay on commentary. They sat in a small sound booth for ages and the results are... well, interesting :)

    Tonight is going to be great, I dont normally play/watch saturdays because i have a "No Pc night" haha so i normally miss the MC shows. But lookign forward to tonights.

    Ah, but these are some of the players who feature in the series. Who's to say all of those are in tonight's episode? ;)

    \Dam thats what i thought. When i read the question it is only players who will be playing tonight?

    EDIT /> How do i find out whos on tonights show? the vid shows alot of people :P I dont know peoples names haha, Uhmmmmm Im Doomed then :D

    Looking forward to this after chatting to Wayne at Walsall recently. He told me a few of the key hands already......:))

    Carnt wait to see the quad kings v quad Aces hand & the Royal flush v quad Queens hand*

    BTW.....the facebook comp is open untill 4.30pm SATURDAY guys.....so there is no need to rush to enter!!

    It is pre-recorded yes. As for the Facebook competition, we're after the names of the six players who start tonight's episode. We're gonna make you watch it - horrible, eh?! :P

    Hi Eagles,

    The show was a live game recorded in our studios a couple of months ago, so tonight's a time for grabbing a bag of popcorn and watching the pros go at it in a cash game.

    Hope you enjoy the show!
