Hi TPTers. I am a little disheartened to see some of the comments regarding the team and where it is heading.
I am also sorry to see MrBurns leave, however, I will explain the situation but omit any names involved.
MrBurns sent me a PM asking me to help a member of the team who has recently been given a lifetime Forum & Chat ban. He asked me to speak to sky to see if I could sort things out.
As you are all probably aware, sky will not discuss disputes, Forum or chat bans with anyone other than the account holder so I felt that there was nothing I could do to help.
Sky do not give players a ban without good cause and no amount of begging or pleading on a players behalf will ever change their mind.
We all know the rules regarding our conduct in table chat, forum posts etc and if we break the rules we have to accept the consequences.
I am sorry MrBurns feels I have let him or this member down, but assure you I have no control over it and the matter is out of my hands.
Comments Regarding the Team Moving Forward. Team Poker Titans was set up by me so we could have a little bit of fun and banter on the tables with the other teams in the Monday Forum DTD. As a consequence of this we have also without a doubt been able to help new players improve their game. There are a certain number of team members who are always offering advice and contributions to the tem thread. There are also some team members who rarely if ever post at all.
It is unfortunate however, that we have 60 players in the team and yet only 15-20 of those actually play regularly in the Forum DTD on a Monday night and even less post on the TPT thread regularly. But we have always accepted that you only need to play if you want to or are available.
J3ONO You have been a member of the team for less than 6 Months, you rarely play the Monday Forum DTD and you were not around when the initial talks regarding the Team Name Change were discussed which had been ongoing for quite some time.
The Name change to "Team Poker Titans" from "Team Poker Trev" was suggested by our vice captain FlyingDagg and the reason it was implemented was because it was suggested that players were joining other teams instead of ours because of the name. Everyone was happy with the change at the time and there were no complaints.
As far as your comments go regarding my position within the team, I can assure you of this.................. My position as Founder and Captain of TPT (Team Poker Titans) is not up for debate, discussion or a vote if that is what you are suggesting? It will NOT HAPPEN.
Players such as Waller, Pom, Yidette, Lambert etc are all entitled to leave the team as and when they see fit and all had there own individual reasons.
Players will come and go from time to time and some will just outgrow the team which is inevitable, but all in all we have been the most successful team on the forum imo and you are all to thank for that.
The railing and support has been second to none & I hope this will continue.
MOVING FORWARD. It was suggested that when we reach 10000 post that we get Sky to put on a freeroll to celebrate this. You may not be aware but, I have already spoken to Sky about this and they have asked me to contact them when we reach the 10000 mark and they will set something up.
It was also suggested that we set up a facebook page, however, I mentioned that a TPT Website with our own discussion forum would be a better option. Most thought this was a good idea and at present I am currently developing the website in my own time and at my own expense, using the latest software available.
Similarly to all the Sky Poker Updates this unfortunately takes time and is something I am doing whenever I am not online playing or railing.
I also asked for suggestions from everyone regarding what you may find useful in sections of the website but have had little or non so far. But I can assure you it is all in hand and you will be informed when it is finished and ready to be rolled out.
What have I done or do for the Team? I developed all the Logo's and Personalised avatars that most of the players use. I rail at every possible opportunity when i'm available. I have played in every single one of the Monday Night DTD Tourney's since the team began I have supplied Shirts for any TPT Players that qualified for the Live SPT Tour on 2 separate occasions at my own expense. I keep the team lists up to date. I offer advice to players regarding poker, bad beats variance etc whenever they ask on the TPT thread. I run the Orfordable League EVERY Friday Night for the Team Players and make sure we have prizes available for the winners. I have spent numerous times on the phone to sky when players have not been entered for there Free Tournies. I am developing a new TPT Website in my own time and at my own expense. I even let FlashJonny have my place in the SPT Side Event on Saturday as he could'nt get a seat.
All of this is very time consuming, I don't expect or ask for any appreciation as I do it for the enjoyment, but I am a little dissapointed that a minority of players feel I am not leading the team.
You are all part of the team, the team thread is for help and suggestions, Tribulations and Cashes. If you feel something is worth considering which may be fun, enjoyable or of benefit to the team then this is where you should post them so we can discuss them.
MrBurns is a great player and has been an ambassador for the team since joining. I hope he reconsiders but if he doesn't, he will be sadly missed, however, I hope he understands that I am NOT responsible for other peoples actions and if those actions lead to a player being banned then I am unable to help them.
As a forum moderator I can confirm what Trev says about Sky not discussing bans with anyone other than the account holder. I am not even told what actiona are taken regarding players after I send a report to Sky about posts that I have had to delete/amend on the forum.
With regards to the DTD games, I am afraid that I am one of those players that can't play these anymore, as much as I would love to, as I have to get up for work in the early hours of Tuesday morning and therefore can't play in games that are very likely to end after midnight. I will however continue to support these games as and when I can, as well as the excellently run Orfordable game on a Friday night.
I very much appreciate the efforts that Trev, and others, put into this team, and I am going to try and get more involved in as many team activities as I possibly can.

He contatced customer services yesterday because when he joined he didnt get his 2 freerolls without going way too deep into it customer sevices claim he was rude whic he dosent think he realy was but the manager there said he didnt spend enough money for them to give him anything he of course got upset about that. He went back online today to try and smooth things out and they have given him a lifetime chat, pm and forum posting ban and doesnt know what to do. He of course will leave sky but siad he didnt want to as he was enjoying playing in the team but will not except this lifetime ban. Now of course neither I or you realy knows what happened but has asked if you could speak to sky on his behalf. If you are happy I would suggest I gave you his number so the 2 of you can talk just acting as a middle man here Trev as he cant pm you himself.Unless he made outragerous threats it sounds like maybe weekend staff have gone way overboard here and dont think we should lose him without trying as speaking to him on the phone for the first time today he comes across as a nice guy and something dosent fit right to get a lifetime ban for telling sky he was upset. I will leave it to you and he has asked me to tell xxx in our team as he has been friendly with xxx and dosent want him thinking he has just ignored xxx but I didnt realy want to say anything yet or post anythingh as I was hoping maybe this could be sorted out discreetly.let me know what you think And so you can all see my last email to Trev I do understand what you Trev but the point was you ignored it, thats what upset me. I am sorry you feel I have ignored you but I can assure you that this was not intentional.
Trev I will not take that as you were the one who spun this by posting I left because you did contact sky you knew that wasnt the reason as you got my last email before you made your posting, but you still decided to tell everyone it was because I was upset you didnt speak to sky.
Any leader or I will now say after you have told YOUR TEAM a dictatorship needs to know the truth, its simple I left as you know because you didnt have the decency to respond when someone asked for help even if you cant you at least have the gumption in you to pick up the phone to YOUR team member and tell him not just ignore it.
I am not going to continue this ridiculous spin on things I just wanted everybody to see I didnt leave for the reasons you said, Hey in my teams I have run we never leave a man behind!
I just remembered why I said I would never join a team! Politics and missunderstandings. Could you please remove me from the team. I would like to say thanks to you (Trev) and Dale and all the other Titans that made me feel so much part of the team but I think I will return back to be an IND. Best of luck to the Titans.
It saddens me to see what has happened today with TPT. As Trevor said we built a very successful team with a core of dedicated DTD and Orfy players. Our railing puts other teams to shame. Players do come and go and for some of them I do know why they went to other teams and it wasn't because they were unhappy in TPT. They had valid reasons whether it was financial or friendship reasons. Some decide to leave and play as Independant which is their perogative. I'm not going to criticise anyone on here for what has happened today everyone is entitled to their opinion but I'm sure some of you are aware of where I stand on what has developed as the P.M.'s have been flying to and fro. Let's just say some things could and should have been handled better.
It's a shame that we have lost 2 more players today of a high calibre but I hope TPT can move on. Trevor has always done his best for the team as I have too and we do make mistakes with sometimes not very nice consequences. There are some things that I will be talking to Trevor about to try and improve the TPT experience for all our players. Poker is an enjoyable game and this is a great site to play it with a wonderful community. If people do have grievances please air them. If people do feel they need advice about their game then ask. It's not perfect amd it never will be but I hope we can all enjoy being in TPT and supporting each other and most imprtantly remaining friends on the tables with all former members.

18th in the main this evening for £51.77 was running well the ran into luckbox bearproof lol he was on fire and had hit a flush on the flop i was on 9s and shoved he snapped called lol great game and thanks for the rail trev and steel

It's a shame that we have lost 2 more players today of a high calibre but I hope TPT can move on.
