Fantastic to see Ed! Will be a great show :)
My fav. poker mentor would be one of the long term cash grinders like Reds or even Neil Channing to give an insight into cash poker mentality.

Brilliant to finally see Ed back, his enthusiasm and raffish charm have been much missed on Sky.

In answer to your question, I'd actually like to be mentored by Mr. Giddins. I've been lucky enough to see him play live, and his habit for calling and open-folding is a thing of rare beauty.

I doubt this post is interesting enough to be read out on the show, but out of curiosity, I'd love to know what Ed's favourite filling would be for a Bagel?

Great to have the Gidzo back on.

Mentor would have to be Daniel Negrenau with Jeniffer Harman doing the breaks!!!

Q for Ed, does he still keep in touch with the barmaid/waitress from the reality show that had the crazy Golf woman in it? He was totally infatuated with her!!!!!

    Have a great show

i didnt think he had AK. i put him on KK or AA but thought AK could have been in his 4 betting range. so 2 out of 3 hands im totally crushed. and the other im flipping in the 2nd level of a deep stacked tournament.

    Hi Anna.

Welcome back Ed, Value Town has been quiet in your absence.

Ed, after your recent photographic exploits on Facebook I challenge you to an Abs Showdown... with Anna.

brilliant to see ed not before time

looking really well mate must be the overs your getting in ! (saw you bowl recently you still got it)

would you agree the current test side is a fair bit better than the 2005 vintage? much more consistent much more depth in bowling bigger runscorers and a much stronger tail

    all the best mate

Thanks Anna, that was pure quality! In response: It was The Vic; I didn't spike Ed's drink - that's a heinous slur (it's difficult to add more fluid to a triple vodka and cranberry anyway)... and I wasn't entirely satisfied with his answer to the Bagel question.

Apart from that, great show (albeit factually innacurate).

The Sky Poker Team of Tikay, Carlo and Fraser would be no good as mentors! They play the game in such good spirit. I'd be laughing too much to concentrate on the poker!
So I'd have to choose Vicky Coren as my perfect choice!
She's beautiful, eloquent, sharp witted, gutsy and like Tikay, explains difficult strategy's in ways that even the least experienced players can relate to and put into practice.
When you consider she was one of the first British Lady's to earn respect from her peers and champion girl power in poker I think she would be an excellent mentor!
Mind her late father was famous for "Call my Bluff" maybe thats a factor in why she's a poker legend!
