    Only me and am wired up not wireless and secure.Only lost connection once i can remember about 2 years ago.

    Not sure what the problem is then.

    You should be able to play plenty of tables with that spec machine.

    I can play 9 easily with the same cpu as yours but with a 256Mb graphics card and 2Gb of RAM.

    It could probably handle more but i've never tried more than 9 at once.

    Try the software wynne has suggested, see it it finds any tweaks you can make.
